Iris POV

Falling. I'm falling. I am hiking through the woods when I decided to stop near the edge of a cliff. As I'm walking I trip over a root and come crashing down over the cliff. Falling. I scream. Now I'm three feet away from hitting the ground filled with small shrubs and grass.

I shoot up in my bed, covered in sweat. Snatching my phone off the bedside table, I rip it off charge and turn it on. 8:27am. It's Friday, so I wander over to my walk-in-closet and put on my work clothes. I grab my brush and comb out my honey blond hair, and put on some makeup to make my violet eyes pop.

After getting ready for the day, I head into my tiny apartment kitchen to make breakfast. Five minutes later, after having a mental debate of what to make, I just grab a muffin and an apple. Once I have cleaned up, I grab my purse, keys, shoved my phone in my pocket and left my apartment.

At the end of my shift, I say goodbye to the other workers and walk to my car. It was a peaceful ride home through the less busy streets of LA, since my shift ends at 6:00pm, the sun has already set. Shortly after, I arrive at my apartment building, I walk inside and climb up the one flight of stairs to my apartment.

When I reach my apartment door, I take out my keys and unlock
the door. As I walk in, I turn on the kitchen light and a small lamp next to the couch in the living room. Dropping my purse on the counter, I quickly run to my room. Changing into sweatpants, a t-shirt  and a comfortable sweater. I also pull my hair into a messy bun on top of my head. Putting my phone in my pocket, I grab my laptop and go back to the kitchen. Quickly, she makes a box of kraft dinner since she didn't get to eat dinner yet. After she is done eating and cleaned up, she turns off the kitchen light. I open up my laptop and open YouTube.
