Na de stichting van de grootste stad van alle koninkrijken is er veel onrust ontstaan binnen het rijk genaamd Tilifia. Groepjes vertrekken en gaan buiten de muren leven, zij worden al snel gezien als de buitenstaanders die verzet toont tegen de grote stad van de handel. De koning van het rijk genaamd Emjeej is erg op rijkdommen gericht en is dan ook van mening dat de buitenstaanders geen dukaten binnen halen en afgemaakt moeten worden. De Hertog van het rijk genaamd Sylvextrion steekt een stokje voor het plan en red het volk buiten de muren die schuilen onder de volksnaam: De groene schaduwen, waarvan Sylvextrion vroeger ook een lid was. De groene schaduw is een elite groep boogschutters die vroeger erg belangrijk stonden in de oorlogen, onder het gezag van de gesneuvelde elite leider Erak overwonnen zij elke oorlog. Sylvextrion voelt zich net als het volk buiten de muren niet thuis in de grote stad. Hij neemt het op voor zijn volk en gaat in discussie met Koning Emjeej over een nieuwe stad.
