I wake up to my phone going off, I grab it to see who's calling and it's Cameron so I quickly answer it. "Hello"
"Hey, how's my girlfriend?" I get butterflies in my stomach, I'm going to have to get use to us being like this.
"I was sleeping but I'm good"
"Sorry I didn't mean to wake you up" this is all so new for me he would usually make fun of me or tease me and now he's being all sweet but what did I expect when I started dating my best friend.
"Don't worry about it Cam, so why did you call anyways?"
"I uh.. I" he stutters, "do you wanna go on a date with me?" he says so fast I can barley comprehend what he's saying, "you know because we're dating now and I thought.."
"Of course I will" I interrupt to save him from embarrassing himself, "when and where?"
"I'll pick you up at 6 and it's a surprise." I smile just thinking of the cute places me he would take me.
"Okay I'll see you at 6 then, bye"
"Bye love you"
"What?" did I really just hear him say that.
"Nothing bye" he quickly hangs up. I know he's told me he loves me before but I always took it in a friendly way and the last time he told me he loved me was the night I got in an accident. I think I love him, who am I kidding of course I love him.
