The Defensive Affairs Unit is a top-secret, super-powered society that protects the planet from threatening villains. After being recruited, the new recruits are split into separate teams and, after extensive training, sent out to protect the Earth with everything they’ve got.
But then there’s VAKAD, a new team of the DAU. The five members are completely different from each other, and that could cause a lot of trouble. With their egotistical leader, the beautiful airhead, the know-it-all nerd, the intimidating bad boy, and the troublesome loner, they are definitely the most difficult team the DAU has ever had to deal with.
Join Violet, that troublesome loner, through her adventures and misadventures with the four idiots she is forced to call her teammates and, even worse, her friends.
This was my favourite story on Wattpad for a while...until I discovered Faking Delinquency and Within These Walls. It is so good and the themes are my favourite - Action/Adventure and a bit of Mystery. The actual categories are Action and Romance. It is amazing (wow, I need to find a new word...). Violet has all these powers and you don't know where they come from and the mystery grips you. This story is written really well, the storyline is so good and the characters are believable and relateable. The Defenders is finished and the sequel, the Offenders, is out.
