Percy's POV:
I missed Annabeth. I missed camp. I didn't want to go to school.
So I decided to do the next best thing since I couldn't visit either. I decided to iris message Annabeth.
"Hullo? Wise Girl?"
"Percy?"
"Hey! I miss you so much!" I looked over her shoulder for a second. "Why are you packing a suitcase?" I admit I was just the tinniest bit suspicious and it obviously showed.
"Oh. Thalia's on holiday from the Hunters and she's going to be spending it at camp. So dads letting me come over." Oh. That made sense.
"Ok. When do you get here?" I hoped I would get to see her before Monday. After... No. I couldn't go there. It was always worst when I slept. The memories and flash backs were painful. Now I understood what Hazel went through when she came back.
"Some time tomorrow. Hopefully before nightfall." Oh.
"Ok. We'll have to catch up sometime." I sounded so hopeful. I hoped it didn't come out as desperate as well. "I'll let you get back to packing. I love you Wise Girl!"
"Right back atcha Seaweed Brain!" She waved her hand through the mist cutting off our connection. Gods I missed my Wise Girl.
