Five

We were in the car heading towards school. We were in silence but it wasn't awkward.

I started getting bored so I reached for the radio and turned it on.

A love like war by All Time Low came on and I freaked out.

"This is my favorite bloody song ever!" and then proceded to scream the lyrics at the top of my lungs.

I heard Bryant laughing next to me so I turned to him " I completely forgot you were here." I said laylughing. He put on a fake offended expression that made me laugh more. Then I kept singing and a second later he joined in.

So here we are. Two people who dont know anything about eachother screaming they're lungs out while attempting to sing while riding the coolest care ever.

When the song ended we were entering the school parking lot. I felt his eyes on me so I turned my head and as I suspected he was staring. Once he noticed he got caught he turned and looked forward. There was some color on his cheek and I couldn't help it. I raised my hand and poked his cheek that only made it worse he got more pink and it made me laugh.

"Aw you're blushing" I said stating the obvious.

"No I'm not" he tried covering his face by looking out his window.

"Whatever" I said with a grin on my face. Stop. My brain ordered me. I let my smile drop and looked away. "Thanks for the ride" I said in a monotone voice and started opening the door. Halfway out the car I was gently pulled back by my arm. I turned to look at him.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing" I answered with a smile on my face, though he noticed it was fake.

"Okay then." he said with a straight face. Then he let my arm go. While walking toward the school doors I heard him drive away. I sighed and continued walking until I reached the door walked inside and went to the class I was in before I fell asleep. 

When I reached the classroom I walked in. All eyes on me. I turned to Mr. Soff and said "I left my stuff here. Can I grab it?"

"Sure"

I walked to the back of the classroom to my desk and grabbed my bag. Then I walked back to the front of the classroom and walked out. I didn't feel like staying in school so I walked back out of the building and got on my bike.

After twenty minutes I finally got home. I swung my leg off my bike and started walking towards my front door. I unlocked the door and walked in closing it after me. I walked to the kitchen to make myself something to eat. In the end I made red macaroni and mashed potatoes (weird I know) and started eating. When I finished I put my plate in the sink not bothering to wash it. I walked upstairs to my bedroom, got my laptop, and sat on my bed scrolling through Instagram.

A while later I woke up and it was dark outside I checked my phone to realise it was 8:30 pm. When did I even fall asleep? Since I didn't feel sleepy anymore I decided to go out. I stayed in the same clothing as this morning since I was too lazy to change, but just in case I got some extra clothes and walked downstairs. I grabbed a cereal bar and walked OT of the house with my keys and wallet in hand. I put the clothes in the bags on my bike and started the engine.

I was riding in town when I heard an engine next to me. I turned and I saw someone. He was wearing a helmet but you could easily know it was a guy. I didn't feel like wearing a helmet so I didn't. I just ignored him and sped up. He sped up with me. What's up with this guy? I turned again to see him motioning me to stop. So I went to the side of the street and stopped. Him following suit.

Once he parked he took off his helmet. And guess who it was. Bryant.

"You ride a motorcycle." was the first thing he said. 

"I think that that is pretty obvious." I retorted. He just smiled in return.

"What are you doing tonight?"

"Looking for a bar. Know any good ones?" he just stared at me, as if studying me. "Hello?" I said snapping my fingers in front of his face.

"Oh-um. Yeah. There's this one bar that's pretty cool. It hosts some fights if you're interested in entering, too." I stared at him dumbfounded.

"How did you know I fight?" I ask him narrowing my eyes a bit.

"Lucky guess." he smiled. "Follow me. We'll get there in no time."
