Zuri POV

"Zuri! Get up you need to get ready for school!" Yelled my mom from down stairs.

"O-okay" I stutter.

I'm always like this, shy and quiet, I keep my head down cause I don't want anyone to notice me. But lucky for me they don't even if I did try and get attention. I get up from my bed and get ready for school. I don't try to look good cause no one is going to notice, so I just throw on a flannel shirt and regular old tennis shoes. I quickly jump into the shower and do all of my other necessities and then go down stairs to eat breakfast.

"Hey baby sis look at you not being flashy as usual today, no wonder you have yet to find your mate" Laughed my older sister Mary. "Maybe you should start dressing better and then you can find a mate like the rest of us" She laughed again and then walked away down the steps.

If you have not figured by now, me and my family are werewolves. We live in a pack called Green Lake. Its a nice pack where not strong but we are also not weak. Although me and my family are poorer then the rest of the families her cause my dad is a warrior not a high ranked one but he is still pretty good, and my mom is the cook. The only reason why we have just got into some more money and territory is because Mary is the mate to the beta of our pack. His name is Lance and he's pretty cool.

After breaking out of my thoughts I continue down stairs where I find my mom, dad, my 3 older brother's, and my sister sitting at the table with all of there mate's.

"Morning baby" My dad says.

"G-good morning" I stutter again.

I take my seat at the table next to my dad and across from my mom.

"Mom can't you do something about her stuttering it makes our family look bad! No wonder she is the only one without a mate" Says my older brother James. Who is also the oldest out of us all, he's 19.

"Don't say that about your sister James she will find her mate in time" My mother says calmly.

This always happen. You see mate's are your other half. They are supposed to love you and treat you as there equal. But I don't really want one. Every snice my 14th birthday I have been getting made fun of because I didn't find my mate, and you usually find them the day or a week after your 14th birthday, but I wasn't so lucky. Every snice then I have stopped wanting a mate cause all that he is going to do is reject me like my siblings always say.

"Zuri! Snap out of it you need to go to school everyone then already left and now you have to walk cause me, James, and Trevor have to go to training" My dad says and rushes me out of my seat.

This always happens, once I start thinking I can't stop.

"You should stop thinking you know, our mate is out there some where you just have to be patient." Says my wolf Maggie.

"I know that but I have been waiting for a long time and in 2 months I will be turning 15, I just don't care any more" After I say that she doesn't respond.

I continue my walk to Creasnt High an all werewolf school. Only 3 packs attend this school. Mine, the Moon pack and the Red Stone pack. The Red Stone pack is scary. They are the meanest and craziest pack out there, but all that craziness got them to be the number 1 pack in all of North America. And there Alpha is worse. He does not play around and don't like being told What to do, also he is like really old but that's because he is the son of the Moon goddess so he can live forever. No one other than his pack has seen him before and if you do see him and your not from his pack then that means you are dead cause he's attacking you.

I finely reach my school with about 5 minutes to spare, so I go to my locker to get my books and homework that I have left in there. You see just because I am shy and stuff doesn't mean I am a good kid cause I NEVER do my homework I don't know why cause like I know that I have it, but I just... Don't wanna.

As I walk to class holding my books and stuff I realize that I then left my biology book in my locker so I run back to go and get it cause I don't want to embarrass myself more by not getting my homework done and also being the only freshmen in the junior biology class that forgot her text book's. As I am running I smell something so amazing like vanilla and strawberries, but before I can identify the smell I bump into a VERY hard chest.

Hey guys so this is my third book. I decided to do another werewolf book because my werewolf books seem to do better than my non-werewolf book so I think that this will be cool... Anyways let me know what you think in the comments and don't forget to vote bye😘😘😘
