"Oh stop pouting" Aileen said, taking her eyes off the road for a split second to glare at Vincent, who had his arms crossed and his head turned the opposite direction.

"It was a damn good taco, ok?" he tried to justify himself.

"Somehow, I don't think that's the whole reason you're glaring out the window." Aileen said sceptically.

Before Vincent could respond though, the car...rang? Aileen pressed a button near the weel.

"Caleb, what'd you got?"

"Yo!" a voice sounded from the speakers. "Okay so, I did a little trick and hacked into the cameras on the piercinct. No biggie, really. Apparently, there are a few dudes wearing masks and holding guns at our cop friends. Really unoriginal masks though, just black covering the heads and a slit for the eyes. They could have gone with something a lot cooler, like in Suicide Squad or in the Spiderman Homecoming tr-"

"Caleb, how many?" Aileen asked impatiently.

"Yeah, right. Umm...about twenty from what I can see. But they're all holding guns, state-of-the-art too. What are those Saiga-12s? Wow.."

"Caleb, focus! What are they trying to do?"

"Right now they're not doing anything. They're just aiming those sweet semi-automatic rifles, that would be a greaat Christmas gift, if ya know what I mean, at the cops. But they can't do anything, they're surrounded. Hate to say this, Al, but this looks like a trap."

"Yeah no shit. They're not even trying to hide it. But who are they? And why the police station, of all places?"

"Can you check and see if they have an escape car or something?" Vincent asked this time.

"Yeah sure thing, Vince." Caleb replied.

"It's Vincent" he corrected .

"Whatever you say, big guy. And they do have a black van waiting in the back."

"Okay thanks Caleb. See ya." Aileen said and hung up. "Fuck."

"Why are we running to save cops? You're an outlaw, shouldn't you be happy about this?" Vincent asked.

Aileen gaped at him. "Absolutely not. The police belongs to me, they're a vital part of the empire I have built here with sweat and tears, I am NOT letting it go to hell."

Vincent raised an eyebrow. He looked surprised and still baffled, and Aileen could tell he hadn't wrapped his head around the situation just yet. She decided to let it go for now though, as they arrived at the station.

They both jumped out of the car and headed for the entrance. Aileen kicked the glass doors open and barged inside.

The scene was exactly as Caleb had described it. Masked men at every corner, aiming guns at the crowd of cops gathered at the centre.

"Okay you sons of bitches" she spread her arms. "I'm here. Now what?"

A man broke out of the group and walked towards her. He took off his masks to reveal a tan face, grey eyes and a smirk. "Well, you see, I would've called, but I don't have your number. Or your name for that matter."

"Well, you're really missing out" she returned the smirk. "Who do you work for?"

"The one, true leader of this city. You'll never match him, stronza" he spat at her. (Bitch)

"We'll see about that" she smiled.

"I actually expected one of your lapdogs to come, not you personally. The boss will be very pleased with me." He smiled menacingly.
