"You're home early!" Louis says as I come through the door.

"Yeah." I say. I was about to continue then I realised its not something I can just blurt out. I can't believe I'm in this position, how can I tell him something that's going to break his heart.

"What happened?" He asks, looking at me funny.

"Uh. Lou come sit down." I sigh. I walk into the living room and take a seat on the sofa, he sits next to me without saying a word.

"That guy from the bar last night was at Shans when I got there." I look at him and he looks numb, I can't tell what he's feeling right now.

"Oh" is all he says after a few minutes silence.

"Oh?" I ask.

"Yeah, she broke up with me last night, but I didn't think she would move on that quick. I was giving her space." He sighs, rubbing the back of his head.

"She broke up with you? I didn't know that. She said she told you that she was done but I didn't think that meant over forever, time to move on."

"Jayde, when she says she's done, she's officially done. But yeah I didn't think she could move on that quick, in the same fucking night. I guess she didn't love me as much as I thought she did." He sighs. I can tell he's trying to hold back his tears.

"Love what's wrong?" Mum asks as she enters the room.

"Nothing uh, I'm going upstairs for a bit." He smiles before disappearing up the stairs.

"Give him some time mum." I tell her.
