Blood thrummed in his ears as he ran, ducking into the cover of darkness as the man in red passed by, looking around with a soft hiss of annoyance. Jonathan knew why. He was pissed because he had lost his victim. He was the only player to be found over the past two minutes of the round. Two more minutes and he was home free. So were the others. Hopefully he didn't screw up again. The guys had come up with the smart idea to run around like animals when the timer hit one minute. Of course, he agreed because why the hell not? It seemed like fun and the subscribers would enjoy a good chase. He remained hidden behind a crate, but the occasional flash of red always kept him on edge. Jonathan constantly had his eyes trained on the clock, waiting for the perfect time to begin running around. By the sound of it, the others had gone out early and were screaming their heads off as they attempted to juke their pursuers. Delirious had little faith that they'd get away. As if the game had read his mind, a voice shouted, "Vanoss! Get Vanoss! He's the only one left!" Panic shot through Jon's body as he realised how much danger his friend was in. Peering out from his hiding spot, he noticed Vanoss was running right towards him, the others following close behind. Sucking in a deep breath, he waited while Evan neared. Then he jumped out, right behind his Asian friend and began to sprint down the hall in the opposite direction. Instantly, the footsteps were redirected and everyone's attention was on him. With a sudden burst of speed, Jonathan watched in awe as his shirt turned from its usual deep navy blue to a bright red. "Yes, we got him boys!" Marcel screeched while the others celebrated their victory. Delirious snickered. "You didn't get Vanoss." Jon pointed out thoughtfully and the guys went wide eyed. "How did Delirious of all people get away from you?!" Tyler seethed. The guys erupted into an enormous fit of arguments until the timer ran out. Evan cheered and Jonathan smiled warmly at his friend. "Thank you Delirious!" The brunette barely had time to register those words before people began talking, asking about what the hell just happened, all the while Jonathan couldn't stop smiling. His friends were dorks, but then again, so was he.
