Chapter 1 : Pangit !

Kaitlyn's POV

"So baby, what do you want for your party? " My mom said while were eating lunch.

My birthday is February 21 and it's February 1 now. Isn't she excited? I'm thinking to myself, how about a pink themed party or how about purple. Oh wait, I think im going for the blue theme. It's more cute.

"Isn't it early, mom?" I looked at my cousin, Dannielle, then to my mom.

" It's better to be prepared, and your turning 16, it's an important age. As your grandma says. We used to celebrate our sixteenth birthday , glamorously, if I say so." She said while taking a bite of her steak.

I chuckle at what she said, as well as Dannielle.

"If you insist,  I would like to have a blue themed party." I say confidently.

" Okay, I'll tell your dad then. " she answers.

"Mom, can we go to Harry today?" I hope she lets us. I want to visit him today cause it's his birthday.

Harry is my bestfriend since I was 5 years old. She's like a brother to me. We met when we had his family came over at our house for a simple gathering. Our parents are really close friends.

"Oh, sure" Yes! I wonder why she isn't so uptight today. Maybe because she's happy?

" Yehey! I love you Mom, we gotta go now" I stood up from my chair and went to her and kiss her in the cheek.

"I love you more Kaitlyn, now be careful okay?" She instantly replied to me.

" Okay!" I shouted while running towards our gate. I felt Dannielle walking behind me.

"Come on Dan!" I shouted as I step outside and started walking. Harry's house is just a few blocks away. Dannielle is now beside me walking.

Dannielle is my cousin. Specifically, one of my favourite cousin. Dannielle and Patricia are one of my closest cousins. We get along easily, it's because we're the same age. We mess around together,  eat together, we're practically like sisters. She's on a vacation right now here in London. She's from the Philippines.

I like it when she's here. I wouldn't have to be lonely in my room. By the way I'm an only child of my parents. My mom's a Filipina while my dad's British,  that's why we're here in London. I know to speak Filipino-just a little- and English languages.

"Are we there yet? " Dannielle ask lazily.

"We just stepped outside Dan" I answered sarcastically.

I can't get it why she's so girly and stuff. Can't she be normal?

She just sighed.

"It's only few blocks away. " I say while rolling my eyes.

" Okay, by the way, who's Harry? " she ask.

" She's your boyfriend. " I say while laughing.  Her eyes widen at my statement.

" I can't remember having a boyfriend, Oh my gosh! He's your boyfriend,  isn't he? " She say. I burst out laughing in the street.

"I'm just kidding Elle and NO he's not my boyfriend he is my bestfriend" I continue to laugh at her. I can see in her face that she's confuse.

"It's my nickname for you, it's easier to say than Dannielle. " I continued.

"Oh ,okay. And if that's the case I'm going to call you Gab" she said.

"Sure. Were here! "I said while grabbing her hand.
