Andrew
She hands me the hundred dollar bill and I fold it too fast for her human eyes to even see, sliding it in my back pocket. They seriously pay too much for this shit. It's too bad she doesn't know she's going to die. She offers me her wrist, fully aware that's where most polite vampires go to feed. I smirk, knowing her human eyes don't see it either, since my lip only twisted up by 2 degrees. Faster than she could blink, I move so I'm standing with her small frame pressed against the wall lightly. I inhale, enjoying the way her scent and perfume tickle my nose. I pin her hands up above her head and hold them there with one hand, using the other to pull her head by her ponytail to give me a better angle. I hear her heartbeat quicken, and the blood under her pale skin starts to pump even faster. I kiss her cheek softly, and flash out my fangs, gently dragging them down her jaw and neck. It's not enough pressure to pierce the skin, but enough to cause her pain.
"I'm so sorry dear, I'm sure you'll be missed." I lie to her, and then bury my teeth into her neck.
Scarlett
My alarm wakes me up, and normally I would slam the snooze button, but today is different. It's my first day of senior year. My brothers, Landon and Daniel, have been waiting for this too ever since the accident happened at the end of our junior year.
We were all at our practices, cheer for me, and football for the boys, when the police car showed up and called us over. We got the devastating news that our parents had gotten into a car accident coming home from their dinner date. For almost the whole summer, the boys and I went into a depression. Everything reminded us of them, and it was hard to do anything we used to enjoy. One day, Landon decided we had to accept what happened and try to live life to the fullest, because it's what our parents would want. So to avoid all the pain we were feeling, we left Pennsylvania, and moved here to South Carolina together. We've been here for about three weeks now, and already there is a huge different in our attitudes.
An hour of bickering, throwing things, and laughing later, we all get in my four-door Jeep Wrangler (I put up a fight to drive us the first day).
"Scarlett, you drive so slow." Landon complains, kneeing the back of my seat. I roll my eyes and flip him off through the review mirror. I don't want to get pulled over my first day, and it's not like we're in a huge rush to get to school. And ever since the accident, I've been a super cautious driver.
"Landon, shut the hell up. I've seen you drive." Daniel responds from beside me, rolling up his window since the school was within view now. Landon chuckles from the back of the car and I look back to see him winking at me.
The parking lot is full already, and homeroom doesn't start for another half hour. We have to drive around the loop twice before I spot an opening out of the corner of my eye. I whip the Jeep into the tight spot, and groan when I realize how hard it's gonna be to open the doors without hitting the two cars beside us. I wedge myself out of the door, and clumsily hit the door off the review mirror of the car beside me.
"Shit!" I curse under my breath, slamming the door shut and double checking to make sure nothing is damaged. I breath a sigh of relief when everything look's normal, and turn to face my brothers smirking faces.
"First day and already hitting other cars, way to go Scar." Landon says, lightly punching me in the arm. I stick my tongue out in response and hit the lock button on my keys. We head inside, and I take notice of where I parked, so I can find my way back out after school.
As we enter, I immediately get claustrophobic from all the people just standing in the lobby. They look younger, so probably freshmen and sophomores. I notice everyone's dressed up, so I'm glad I wore my new I bought from the mall this past weekend. I scan over the mass of people, looking for an office sign somewhere.

VampireHe brushes the hair off my neck and brings out his fangs, nodding for me to do the same. I wince, since it still hurts to bring out fangs as a newborn. "Okay, find the vein in my neck, and just bite. Then your instincts will take over and I'll tell...
