Scarlett
The morning classes fly by, and Lillian is rushing me down the hall with her to the cafeteria."Scarlett, get your ass moving! It's the first day of school and we have to get good seats!" She yells at me, grabbing my wrist and pulling me along with her.
After practically running down three long hallways, we enter what I assume to be the cafeteria. Lillian lets go of me, and I immediately scan the room for my brothers.
"Scar! Lillian!" I hear Daniel shout over the loud chatter in the room. Lillian and I head over to the almost full table and I see everyone from homeroom there waiting for us. I also notice a new girl there too that I haven't seen yet today. I sit in the empty seat between Landon and Max, and Max beams at me.
"Triplet 3? What's up!" He exclaims rather loudly. What is with people and thinking were triplets?
"We're not triplets, but I'm good. A little overwhelmed but good." I respond, laughing a bit.
"I know, just messing with you." He says, hitting my arm lightly and winking. I know it's more than just friendly, because he's been trying to flirt with me every time he sees me. I use the word "trying" because I'm not into him like that.
I pull out my salad and start eating, and I laugh when I see my brothers are still eating PB&J even though we're seniors. Although they're both completely capable of making their own sandwiches in the morning, they obnoxiously insist I make them.
"Max, switch me seats right now!" Lillian whisper-shouts from across the table. Everyone else is deeply immersed in conversation, so they don't notice the exchange going on.
Lillian runs around the table and throws her tray down, scooting her chair closer and closer to mine until her chest is touching my shoulder.
"Look over there, they're coming in!" She whispers in my ear, pointing to the doors.
I whip my head around to see what she's freaking out about, and then it makes sense. There's three of them, not just two. They're all walking so gracefully it looks like they're floating above the floor. They must be related somehow, because there's no way any three people are that beautiful without being related. Although they're all gorgeous, Wesley and Connor are no competition to the third mystery guy. There's too many perfect things about him it's hard to concentrate. His hair is messy, but it looks good with the vibe he's giving off. His face has a tired look to it, and his eyes and expression seem lifeless, like he hasn't smiled in years. For some reason, it's sexy and I can't tear my eyes away. His arms aren't as big as Wesley's, but when he flexes under his dark shirt, the veins pop out and I can see every muscle.I don't notice that Connor sees me staring at the third boy, but he nudges his shoulder and points in my direction. I flip around as quickly as possible, my face going bright red.
It's only been a few seconds since they walked in, and Lillian starts to give me their backstory.
"Okay, so the super built one, that's Wesley Richard. The smaller brunette with glasses, that's Connor Braud. They're fake glasses, he just wears them for fun. And the last one, obviously the most gorgeous human being to ever exist, that's Andrew Thomas. They're all seniors, and they all moved here from France last year. They have to-die-for accents, and they like to talk in French when other people are around. I'm guessing they don't want people to know what they're saying, or they just like the attention from it. Anyway, Wesley and Connor have both dated girls in the school, and flirt heavily whenever they're single. Wesley was dating a girl last year, I'm not sure if they're still together or not. But Connor is single, and Andrew has yet to date or even show interest in any girl here. I secretly think he might be gay, because every girl here has tried to get with him at least once, and he has totally shut down every single one. He always looks miserable every time I see him, I think it's just his face. And he gets angry a lot, so Wesley or Connor have to calm him down. It might be a medical problem, it's kind of scary sometimes." She pauses for a second, and I think she's about to pass out.
"Scarlett, don't turn around, but I swear to God Andrew is staring at you right now." She mumbles. I completely ignore her comment about not turning around, and I peek over my shoulder to see that he's definitely looking at me. It's not just Andrew, but all three of the flawless boys are staring at me. I tear my eyes away from Andrew's intense glare, and look over at Connor. He winks at me, and I can't help but giggle thinking about this morning at our lockers.
Just then, Andrew throws one of the textbooks that's resting on the table to the ground so quickly and with so much force it's unbelievable. A loud slam echoes through the room, and hushed gasps are heard in reaction. His eyes meet mine one more time, and I swear I see them flash a red color like Wesley's did earlier today in the office. He grabs his backpack from off the floor and storms out of the room, his head dropped to the floor the entire time.
The room stays quiet for a few seconds, and then awkwardly picks back up to it's previous chatter.
"That's never happened before, but see what I mean? Anger issues!" Lillian says to me, singing at the end.
"Y-yeah, seems weird." I mutter in response, replaying what just happened in my head.
Connor and Wesley both get up from the table then, and Wesley cocks his head in my direction. He shakes it twice in disapproval, and hurries out the door.
