Stretching I yawn trying not get rid off the weird feeling of sleeping at a weird angle. I must have fallen asleep when I got home.
My bed is so lumpy it feels like I'm sleeping on rock. Opening my eyes I see cave wall.
" Well shit." I muttered highly confused.
Sitting up I look around the rock.
Nothing out of the ordinary. Same old same old. Well except for the giant shadow.
Scales on rock. That's the sound I heard. Oh okay so a snake. A very big snake.
Standing I walked towards the sound to see the largest snake I've ever seen. Larger than five buses and thicker than a car.
  Oh shit.
" Ssso your finally awake." The snake hissed slithering closer to me. " You've been out for hourssss."
  " What are you?"
" I'm a basilisk, the name is Guerriero."
Nodding I tried to think straight.
I'm in a strange room in a cave with a basilisk? What the hell happened?
" You were brought here by the combined trickery of Ssstorm, lancassster, Diablo, Greenleaf, and moildeir."
'So you can read my mind?'
   " Yessss."
' Just great'  I sigh looking around again.
" Well great all powerful mind reading snake is there a way out of this cave?"
Nodding the serpent turned slowly slithering forward. Following him we soon reached an opening in the cave wall.
Problem was it was too big for Guerriero.
" How are you ever going to fit?"
In a bright flash of light Guerriero disappeared.
  " Down here."
Looking down I see a snake head poking out of my pocket.
Well that works.
Walking through the crack in the stone I blink trying to see in the blinding sunlight.
" Why is it so bright here?"
" Because the sorcerersss are preparing. They are trying to trap the Dragon rider. Ssstupid idiotsss."
I followed a worn path Guerriero hissing directions every so often. There had been no ambushes. No surprise attacks. No sounds of war.
Where are we? And who would bring me here? Why?
Crashes and the shrieking call of distress called me out of my thoughts. Running towards the source of the sound, I see a winged beast ensnared in ropes surrounded by soldiers.
' This is gonna be a long day.'
