~The Dark Angel~

Part 3 of Chapter 1

It was a normal morning or at least it seems to be. Adrienne wakes up in her bed, she had bandages where the cuts were. Despite what happen, she still had a beautiful smile on her face. She opens the door and runs over to her mother who was making some breakfast. "Heh morning Mommy!" she giggled "morning sweetheart, you feeling ok?" she asked as she looked down at the little dark angel. "Heheh yep!" she said loudly with a smile. "That's wonderful..." she smiled. Adrienne's mother was a sweet, loving person always smiling and loves her only child, she doesn't care if Adrienne is a demon or not, she will always love her no matter what. Adrienne tries to step on her tippy toes to look and see what she is cooking, the food looked so delicious! After a whole, her mother places the bowl down on a table as Adrienne sits in her seat as she swings her legs like a little child. Adrienne grabs a spoon and she starts eating, Adrienne's mother smiled as she has grabbed a rag and cleans little Adrienne's face, Adrienne giggled while trying to get away then we both stop when someone knocked on the door. They both looked at the door as normally no one comes by the little hut, especially since it was in the woods. Adrienne's mother looked a bit worried before looking back at her "stay here" she said, Adrienne nodded before her mother walked over to the door and slowly opened it, Adrienne looked around before seeing a bunch of people, they looked mad. "Where is the little monster?!" Yelled the old man. 'monster?' she thought to herself. Her mother tries her best to lie about the "monster" being here, but the man looked behind her to see little Adrienna. "There's the monster!" He yelled, pointing at the little dark angel. The mother slams the door shut but the people bangs on the door. Adrienne was scared, wondering what would happen to them. The mother looked at her child, worried as she runs over to her as she kneels to her level, grabbing her shoulders "my child, please go to the back door and run as far as you can go and never return" she ordered her daughter, trying to hold back her tears. "W-what? But I don't wanna leave you mommy!" Adrienne yelled, crying her littles eyes out. "Please my child, please run for the sake of yourself" she said, wrapping the cloth around her little body, hiding the black wings. Adrienne keeps crying, refusing to go without her mother. "W-what about you mommy?" she asked her, her eyes pouring down with tears like a waterfall. "I'll.... I'll be fine... I'll distract them while you run" She said, picking up the little angel and carrying her to the back window, opening it. "B-but mommy" before she could finish her sentence, someone throws something that was on fire through the window and the fire starts spreading through the house. Adrienne keeps crying as her mother panics, she takes a necklace off of her neck and places it around Adrienne's neck. The mother kisses her head "just remember I'm doing this because I love you" she places the little angel outside on the ground. "Now go, go! And don't come back!" she yelled harshly as tears started coming down. Adrienne obeyed her mother as she was a bit scared when she used her harsh voice and she runs.

Adrienne kept running, she can hear the mob going after her as she keeps running, she cries as she can barely see anything through her tears. Adrienne trips and she falls on the ground, she sniffles as she doesn't want to run anymore but she doesn't want to get hurt or worse. Adrienne looks around to see a hollow tree, she crawls over into it and she sits there. She cried as she was alone, cold, and scared. But she can't help but think if her mother is ok. Adrienne slowly drifted off to slumber as her face was stained with tears.

Adrienne opens her eyes to see she was in a room full of light and weird beautiful flowers. Adrienne was amazed by it as she looked around, her wings sprout up. Adrienne keeps wandering around, petals dancing in the wind, then she sees a figure in the distance, she hesitated before walking slowly up the figure. She walked over and she could see hair white as snow as it flows through the wind as the figure's back facing the little angel. The little dark angel coughs a little as it catches the figure's attention. The figure turn around, it was a tall lady. Her eyes red as rubies which look kinda terrifying because they look like cat eyes. The woman also had horns which shaped like ram horns. She tried her best to give a friendly smile, it showed some sharp teeth. The woman looked very nice and friendly. The woman also wore a white dress that stretches down to her ankles. "Hello, little child" she said, kneeling down to her level as she smiled. Adrienne waves shyly as the woman study her wings " so you're a dark angel?" she asked, Adrienne steps back, shaking a bit. "Don't worry Adrienne, I'm not going to hurt you" she said "how did you know my name?" Adrienne asked. "I know many things about you.. I know what happen to you, just like what happen to you not too long to go" she said. Adrienne frowns, looking down as she is ready to burst into tears. "But don't worry Adrienne, you can have your revenge and those who torture you and killed your mother" she gave an evil grin. "B-but she can't be dead, she has to be alive" she said, sniffling "I know she is dead.... But don't worry dear, I'll avenge your mother and what they have done to you" she said "just take my hand" she said, holding her hand out. Adrienne reaches her hand over to the woman's but she hesitated and thinks for a few seconds. She retracts her hand and it falls to her side. "I-I'll don't want to... at least not right now" she said. The woman growls a bit as her arm falls to her side, "alright then little girl, if you need me the most.... I'll appear again... well bye" she said as Adrienne's vision starts to become blurry as the woman turns around, walking away. "M-miss, before I go.. What is your name?" she said, feeling her legs are going to give out. The tall woman turns around "my name is..Ravana" and with that, Adrienne passed out.

Adrienne woke up as she was cover in cold sweat, it was freezing cold now as she was still in the tree. She gripped on the necklace as she breathes heavily. Adrienne soon calmed down as she slowly crawled out of the hollow tree, it was night as the full moon was out, shining down in the forest. Adrienne was wondering if that was real or some sort of dream? Then something catches her attention, a bright blue butterfly flies over to her, Adrienne holds her hand out as it lands in her hand, the butterfly flutters its wings slowly as Adrienne blinks and looks at it. She sighs as her new life on the road with no mother, home, or family starts now.
