Anastasia's POV

After lunch we had math class, which was the usual, copying stuff from our books. The teacher just doesn't know how to teach or something because all he does is make us copy problems out of this text book.
As I finish my last problem I drop my text book and catch Zeke staring at me
I roll my eyes and pull out my library book to read, but instead of reading I get hit in the head by a paper air plane.
As it falls to the floor it unfolds to a note that says

'What the heck! Who thinks its ok to creepily ask someone to meet them behind the school! Ugh....I'm going to go'
"Does it bother you?" A boy with light brown wavy hair and grey eyes hiding behind glasses asks.
"Does what bother me?" I ask picking up the note and stuffing it in my jeans.
"That the teacher looks half dead all the time?" He says pointing at the teacher who looks like he could have scored a roll as live action shrek.
I giggle and say ," well he wouldn't have a right to give us all this "hard" work if he was able to function like a live person, I'm Anastasia by the way"
"I'm Oscar, and I can tell Zeke has a thing for you" he says smirking.
"Well I will tell you one thing, I will never have a thing for that pile of trash" I say
"Ooo you know how to wound a guy if you need to don't ya? I heard that he is planning on asking you to homecoming"
"Ha, I am already scheduled as Isabelle's wing-woman so I have a valid excuse" I say with a innocent look
Oscar looks like he's about to say something but the bell interupts him
I pack my stuff and hand Oscar my number
"See ya around Oscar!" I say as I rush to find Isabelle
"Bye..." Oscar says grabing his books
Zeke's POV

I see Anastasia stuff my note in her pocket, I hope she agrees to meet up with me
I finish my work and observe Anastasia speaking with some random guy, after the bell rang she gave him her number
'OH NO HE DIDN'T, he won't get away with this'
I approach the kid with Anastasia's number and shove him up against his locker
"Explain to me, point dexter, how you got her number or you will regret your every living breath!" I scream at him, he looks like he is about to faint so I let go of him
"I was just talking to her, and if I were you I would leave her alone she wants nothing to do with you" he replies, I am in shock that a nerd would speak that way to me
I walk past him and knock his books out of his hands
"We will she what she wants" I say and walk to my next period
Anastasia's POV

I head toward Izzys locker but hear someone in the janitors closet, I open the door and see Isabelle and Jase making out
I clear my throat
"Uh Isabelle you and I need to head to class" I say with a stern look then glare at Jase
"Oh my god Ana! You scared me " isabelle says looking nervous,"bye, Jase"
"Bye Jase" I say giving him the sign that says I got my eyes on you then I walk Izzy to the library since this is our free period
"Why would you think its ok to do that at school! What if I was the janitor or the principal!" I say
"Chill gurl, I had it under control losen up" Isabelle says
"How can I losen up when you are acting so insane!" I say as Izzy and I sit on a couch in the library
"Well Jase looked to hot today..." Isabelle says
"Nope! Shut up!"
Isabelle laughs and almost falls on the floor but I catch her
"Well anyways last period, someone threw this not at me" I say handing her the note from my pocket "and I met a guy named Oscar and gave him my number"
At my last comment Isabelle wiggles her eyebrows but then reads the note
"You aren't going are you?"she asks slightly worried
"Well yes I want to see what will happen remeber prince charming, I bet its him and I have pepper spray"
"Ok well good luck, and about this Oscar dude, are you into him or is he just a friend?"
"I...I don't know...I mean he's cute but I guess I'll figure that out later" I say blushing a little
"I can't wait to see how this ends" Isabelle says smirking
"Oh shut up" I say as a girl with dark brown hair that reaches her waist and black eyes approaches us
"Hey, I'm Nimira can I hang with you guys" she asks sitting down on the couch next to us
"Yeah I'm Isabelle and this is Anastasia" Isabelle says and I wave
"Are you new here or..?" I ask
"Oh, I just skipped a grade and I know no one here" Nimira says
"Oh so we got a smarty pants on our hands?" Isabelle says and I giggle
The bell rings and we exchange numbers with Nimira and I walk Isabelle to the bus,
I head to the back of the school since I live close I can walk home after
I have my pepper spray in my pocket, and I have my hand in my pocket just in case.
Zeke's POV

I grab my back pack and slip away from the fangirls to the back of the school where I suprisingly saw Anastasia, I run up to her and tap her shoulder
"Hey"
"Why did you ask me to come here exactly?"
"Because I wanted to ask you to homecoming, so Anastasia will you go to homecoming with me?" I ask and hold out a rose
"Give me one reason why I should say yes" I say crossing my arms
"Well have you ever regretted a adventure?" I say rubbing the back of my neck
"Well no but I can't say yes just yet, you of course are a frick boy and popular and honestly I'm not into drama especially having to fight those fangirls for you, but listen ill think about it and ill tell you my answer atleast 2 days before homecoming, ok?" She says with a sigh along with her cheeks colored a rosy red
"Ok but im not afraid to fight other knights for the princess" I smile and place the rose in her hand and she turns and walks to the front of the school, as I walk to the bus stop
