on taehyung's seventeenth birthday hobi and suga were invited. not because of taehyung, but only because if namjoon was gonna be there then he should at least have someone to hang out with.

namjoon was originally only going to invite suga to go with him, but he didn't see a problem in inviting hobi. he figured the kid should be able to see his crush on his birthday, who would it hurt.

taehyung got plenty of presents, the smile in his face lighting up the whole room. although taehyung is seventeen now, that doesn't mean he ever grew up. he still very much has a child like aura to him, and namjoon could tell that the younger would need someone to take care of him.

taehyung just seemed like someone that needed comfort, needed someone to be there for him. and he was right. taehyung needed someone bigger than him, needed someone more mature so it could fill in for the absence of his maturity.

his bleach blond hair, for some reason, made him seem more mature, but at the same time smaller.

taehyung's mother sat next to him, handing him present after present from the people surrounding him.

taehyung had good friends, ones that accepted him for the way he was. no one judged him, thankfully- or else namjoon would have to beat someone.

hoseok's smile was large while the younger recieved presents, he found the light in the little ones eyes to be something entirely captivating. he couldn't wait to give him his present.

+; just so you know, this is taking place before last chapter. next chapters are gonna be a little confusing and are going to take place before this one. along with that, this story dives into the topic fast. I want it to focus on them hiding their relationship rather than it developing.

to put it simply, this story starts off with them being in some sort of relationship already, but that will be explained next chap.
