Charlotte's POV

School was finally over and I was walking out of my last class to my locker when I saw Natalie and Jack talking by my locker

And Natalie seemed pissed about whatever they were talking about

I hid behind one of the corners and listened to the conversation

"Jack why are you making me lie to Charlotte like this, that girl is so sweet." Natalie said annoyed

"She's not finding out anything about our past, you better have not blurted anything out yet." Jack said in almost like a threatening voice

Natalie rolled her eyes "Your a really bad boyfriend lying."

"Well she hasn't found out yet. And she doesn't need to." Jack said

"She's gonna find out soon." Natalie rolled her eyes

"Well it's not gonna be cause of you cause your throwing away all of our old pictures and notes and stuff." Jack said

Natalie look hurt "You mean throw away all of our memories we had together. The moments when you actually loved me."

"Those don't exist no more." He said

What the heck are they talking about

I got from behind the corner and walked to my locker and greeted them

"Sup Jack and Natalie." I smiled at them opening my locker

"Sup." Jack said smiling while Natalie just looked down

I put all my books away and closed my locker "So you guys doing anything good today?"

"Well my ass got myself into detention." Natalie rolled her eyes

I chuckled at her "What for?"

"Let's just say spray painting lockers can make teachers mad." She smirks

"Yikes." I laugh

"Well I gotta go." Natalie said before walking away

Jack wrapped his arm around my shoulder "Do you wanna hang at my place?"

"Ughh I can't today." I lied

"Why?"

Oh shoot I can't tell him the real reason

"Um Henry is sick so I gotta take care of the kids." I fake smiled at him

"Do you even like doing this project? It seems boring." He states

"No it's ok."

We walked out of the school building "Hope you have a good day watching your kids." He gives me a kiss on the forehead before leaving

I smiled at him before rushing to my car

"Ok detention ends at 6 so I have 3 hours to do research." I said starting the car and driving to Natalie place

I walked to Natalie house and tried knocking and opening the door but it was lock

"Ugh her parents are probably at work." I groan and they don't get off until 8

"Maybe she might have a spare key somewhere." I said to myself locking for the key

I looked under the welcome mat and there was a spare key

To be honest it's so basic to put a spare key under the welcome mat

I just shrugged and opened the door and walking in

I closed the door and put the key in my pocket
