Our Birthday

Chapter2- The Party

After I had calmed down, about what Jai said, I found out that he had liked me for a long time as well. I was ecstatic!

At about 5, I was still with Jai, Yasmin and Luke just in the park! When Luke and Jai's brother Beau showed up with Daniel and James, the boys were together, and when they are together good things happen!!

After 2hrs Yasmin shouted 'SHIT'

We all looked round to Yasmin panicking!

' Lauren,Jai and Luke. Go home now! Beau take the twins back make them put something nice on! Lauren see you later! Go home put something nice on too! Be at mine at 10! '.

We all got up and left In fear that Yasmin would probably punch us if we didn't!

Walking home I was calm and really happy, when I got home I stopped and ran up stairs! 'Fuck' I yelled! I had nothing to wear, I literally went through everything in my wardrobe. Nothing. I had nothing. I had 2hrs til I need led to be a Yasmin's. What was I going to do?!

After crying for half an hour I decided to call one of my Bestfriends and neighbour Kirsty! She always had nice clothes and is always gave good advice, I shouted emergency down the phone! And hung up. Kirsty was knocking on the door within 30seconds, she stood there in a towel and with her hairbrush in her hand,

'Kirsty, clothes emergency!'

Kirsty pushed past me ran up stairs looked in the giant pile of clothes, by the time I got upstairs she was stood there with the best outfit I'd seen! I don't know how I didn't see it tbh,, Kirsty stayed to do my makeup, I explained my crazy day, Kirsty was 2 years older than me,Beau had a crush on her (it's a small world!) she was excited for tonight! I showed her my tattoo and said that Jai designed it and he got one the same.

After she was finished with my make up and hair, it was 9 o'clock, Kirsty who was still in her towel ran back home to get ready. I got dressed and put my heels on!

I was ready, it reached 9:30 I was about to get ready to go when I heard someone honking their horn, I looked out to see Jai,Luke and Beau were in the car, I ran out being careful not to slip, I got to the car where Jai was standing leaning, he ran towards me picking me up and hugging me, he carried me to the car,

Beau leaned out the window and said

'Erm what about your friend Kirsty? Does she want a lift?'

'I can see if she's ready, Beau'

I walked over to Kirsty's she opened the door as soon as I got there,

'Kirsty! Need a lift?'

'Erm yeh sure' she replied

We walked over to beaus car and hopped in, the ride there was extremely awkward me and Jai kissing in the backseat, Beau and Kirsty flirting in the front, and Luke sat awkwardly by himself in the back.

When we reached Yasmin's, all the lights were off and there wasn't a sound coming from the house, Beau and Kirsty ran ahead, Jai and I looked at each other, then at Luke who shrugged, we held each other's hands bracing ourselves, me in middle. We got to the house opened the door,

'SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAUREN LUKE AND JAI!'

We all knew what was going on, we acted surprised anyway.

Yasmin ran over to Luke and gave him the biggest hug ever, whispered happy birthday in his ear and kissed him softly,

'Get a room!' Daniel shouted as he came over and hugged me and Jai. I looked up at Jai and bit my lip, He nudged his head across to the drinks.
