A/N: Thank you so, so much for all your patience.
This is the first chapter in over 3 months, and for that I profusely apologise. This has honestly been incredibly difficult for me to write. I'm worried that this is becoming repetitive and boring or that you guys won't understand what I'm trying to achieve here. I also didn't want to post anything until I had finished the entire fic.
A huge, HUGE thank you to @Annabellelyn, who encouraged me last night to keep writing this. I basically pumped out the rest of the book except two scenes today =).

EM: About what?
PN: Do I really have to say it?
EM: Yeah.

PN: That's such a weird word on my screen.
EM: Because it's real?
EM: Because you're finally acknowledging the reality of the situation?
PN: ...Yeah.
PN: I still want to leave, even after that shower.
EM: You thought you wouldn't when you stepped out of it?
PN: Yeah, obviously.
PN: It's not like – never mind.
EM: It's not like what?
PN: ...Don't laugh.
EM: I'm not laughing.
PN: It's not like – it's gonna sound weird – but it's not like relationships haven't been the same thing.
EM: ...What?
EM: What does that even have to do with anything?
PN: See? Shit, let me explain –
EM: What –
PN: Like, you get into these relationships and it starts off great, like the honeymoon phase or whatever.
PN: And then that honeymoon phase is over and you think oh yeah the relationship will end and it sucks.
PN: And then you step out one day or the next minute or whatever and it's like NOPE the relationship's back on because you're gonna have sex right now!
