Chapter I: Alola to Alola

I was sitting in my seat on the boat that was taking me to my new home when I get a video chat from my cousin. "Hi Kukui, how are you?" I ask politely. "Everything is all good Colin. So coming all the way from Kanto on a boat must be long, right." I nod when he finishes. My mom said a change of scenery would be nice for us. Plus, I did some research and found out some Pokemon, like Exeggutor, are very different because of Alola's tropical climate. I have also heard some Pokemon have a type changing when growing up in a different area. It is very weird but I will deal with it. "Colin, you still there." I hear Kukui's voice from the screen. "Yeah, just spaced out thinking how different Alola will be compared to Kanto." I reply. I hear a knock come from Kukui's side of the video. "Gotta go." He cuts off the chat. I sigh, he always has something going on. I close my laptop and look outside. A Wailord jumps out of the water. "Cool!" I hear a small child yell. that was my reaction when I first saw one. I see land up ahead. "Here we go. I wonder what adventures I will see today. I look up and it is almost morning, I have stayed up all night, first thing I do when I get to my new home is go to sleep. It feels nice to have a new home for once though, Kanto was getting kinda boring.

"Meowth, could you please go wake Colin up. He has been sleeping since this morning." Colin's mom asks her Pokémon, Meowth. Meowth runs off to wake Colin up before he sleeps the whole day away. Colin gets up. "Uhh, just 10 more minutes." Colin groans, he wants to sleep forever. Meowth keeps poking him until he gets up. "Alright, I'm up, I'm up." Colin gets out of bed. He goes outside to meet his mom. They talk for a bit. Colin's mom goes inside. Colin stays out. He already woke up so there was no use going back to bed. He hears a voice outside. He walks off his porch and looks over to see a girl with a bad walking, the bag was moving. Colin follows silently, curious to know what is going on. After following for a while he sees a Pokémon being attacked by Spearows and the girl, presumably the Pokémon's trainer, looks worried. She noticed Colin. "Can you please help Nebbie?" She asks. Colin nods and runs into the bridge where Nebbie was being attacked by the other Pokémon. Colin covers Nebbie, taking the hits from the Pokémon. Eventually, the bridge collapses and Colin and Nebbie start falling. A Pokémon catches them and places them safely with the girl. The Pokémon disappears. 'Well, that happened.' Colin thought.

A/N: Well, the adventure has just begun, Colin's adventure has started. So anything I missed.
