One day I was walking in the park on a hot day and I was wearing shorts. A kid told me I was a hero. I asked "what? why?" He said, "my dad told me if I see someone with scars they are heros because they went through a tough time but made it out alive."I never cried so hard before. I stopped cutting myself the day after.
