"Bagel killer."
Though my words were barely above a low growl, I could tell that he somehow heard them from the panicked expression that took over his face.
I watched him frantically look around for a way to escape as I stalked towards him, but the doors he had just entered were blocked by the tidal wave of students still flooding into the cafeteria.
If I weren't so incredibly overwhelmed with rage, I probably would've found his expression laughable. But, as I approached him, all I could see was the image of my bagel drenched in disgusting puddle juice.
Right as he turned to run in the opposite direction, I grabbed his arm and whipped him around.
"Nice try, but you're not getting away that easily again," I say, keeping my hold on his arm.
"Shit. Listen, I'm super sorry about bumping into you this morning, okay? It was an accident!" He squeaks while trying to break free of my grip.
"An accident? AN ACCIDENT?! DO YOU THINK I GIVE A SHI--"
"Whoa, Junie, you need to calm down sweetie," Sanderson, appearing out of nowhere, says soothingly while somehow managing to detach my iron grip from the soon-to-be-dead guy's arm.
"Sanderson! What are you doing?! Don't you see that this fuck face is Bagel Killer?! He needs to be murdered just like the way he murdered my baby!" I shout at my best friend. How could he be standing there so calmly? Was he not as overcome with rage as I?
Sanderson slowly rubbed my arm up and down in an attempt to calm me.
"Juniper, darling. Don't you remember the last time you attempted homicide on school grounds? You almost got expelled."
"But Sandy, he deserves it. He took away my sweet, innocent bagel and he needs to pay!" I argue.
"I know he does pumpkin, but you will just have to wait to attack him until you are off campus; we can't have you getting kicked out of school."
"Fine," I sighed and nodded, knowing he was right.
Then I turned back to evil one who had been watching my and Sanderson's exchange with a confused and terrified expression on his face.
"You're alive for now you dirty bagel murdering fiend, but I wouldn't get too comfortable if I were you. Once school is out, your ass is grass," I growled at him.
Seeing his opening, he turned around and fled the cafeteria, but not before mumbling something that sounded like "crazy".
Oh no he didn't
I gave a battle cry and dove at his retreating form, but before I could take him down, I was caught midair by two strong arms.
"After school, okay? Just a couple more hours and you can bludgeon him to death then," Sanderson said into my ear while slowly putting me down. "C'mon, let's go finish our lunch."
As Sanderson lead me away, I didn't take my eyes off the doors that the bagel killer escaped through.
I will destroy him if it is the last thing I do.
