"It is what it is." Growing up and to this day, I've always hated that phrase. It's just a lazy excuse for someone who can't process what's just happened. A sign of apathy, the worst emotion one can feel. Everyone fears a cold killer bent on revenge, but I've alway feared a truly cold, truly emotionless man.
