Breathe. I said to myself while looking up at the full moon.

They're not here yet.  I knew by heart if they found me, it would be over. That thought kept the adrenaline pump harder through my blood.

I looked at my watch and it was 2:02 am now. Although I was running as fast as I could it was dark as hell and the mist was so dense you couldn't see a finger in front of you. The quiet moment broke by the sound of weels
turning full speed, and getting closer by every second. I tried to maintain my breathing with my running speed but it was next to impossible. A few seconds passed and the car followed me close enough that I could take a glance at it. It was a big black Range Rover. As assumed, two shadows where reflecting on the glass windows.

Only thing left right now was to destroy my data and act crazy. To be honest, it wouldn't be the first time. It was one of those things you had to get used to, that just implied to your job and its disadvantages.
Before I had the time to turn to some hideout where the car can't follow, the window of the car opened and something tiny flew out.
Gas. I couldn't be sure but I put my sleeve under my nose and stopped running, and I realized it after a few seconds. It hit me like nothing before-worst that a bottle of tequila and I just couldn't stand anymore nor could I keep my eyes open, so I didn't.
