Beep Beep... Beep.
I force my eyes to open. My mom is at the side of the bed. My hand in hers. Her head is lying on the mattress. I wriggle my hand loose and push my self up onto one elbow and look around. I'm in a hospital room. My right arm is in a cast, I notice bandages wrapped around my head and I a sudden pain surges through my chest. A low moan escapes my lips. A nurse comes in an sees I'm a wake.
" Oh Abigail. I'm glad your awake. Doctor! She calls
The doctor come sin looks at my head and arm mumbles something about surgery and leaves. Another nurse come sin with a needle and pokes it into my back. My head instantly feels woozy and I lie back down, the last thing I remember is the image of a sword imprinting itself on my wrist.
