Unusual Sisters

     In an Alternate Universe, where the world is divided between Light and Darkness in an ongoing war between the spirits, in the midst of a horrible battle, a pregnant woman and her husband ran across the field to the border between the light and dark sides. 

The couple were running from an onslought of Darkness warriors, hoping to make it across the border to safety before the children were born. They slipped into an abandoned building as the mother went into labor. Her husband held her close, calming her as the first child was born. She had pale skin and blond hair, with completely black eyes. Of course. The baby had been born in Dark territory, making her a creature of darkness. A loud crash came from outside. The soldiers were coming near. "Honey, we need to go!" The father cried, and helped his wife up. The two ran away from the building with the baby in their arms. They crossed the line between the two territories, where a group of Light soldiers were waiting for them. They helped the family into a truck and drove off as the mother went into labor with the second child. And another child was born. She had raven-black hair and electric blue eyes. "Beautiful Bella...and Charasin..." The mother said, looking lovingly at her beautiful twins. Her energy slowly seeped away as she left the world behind. The new father cried, having just lost the person he cared for the most. He turned to the children, and in his grief, blamed them for his wife's death. He left the truck with the children all alone in it and crossed back over the line between the Dark and Light territories. The soldiers came at him, and in a flash, he was laying there, on the ground, dead. 

Later, the car with the sisters in it was discovered, and seeing Bella's black eyes, she was given to the Kingdom of Darkness. The King himself took her in and vowed to raise her as a warrior. Charasin, however, was taken into the Light Kingdom and raised there, the two never knowing of each other's existence.
