Letting Go

As I stepped outside my door,

I can hear the thunders roar.

Every step a splashing sound,

as the shoe kisses the ground

The touch of the raindrops on your skin,

that flows from head to chin.

i can feel it,

the storm to me shall hit with its every last bit.

Now, i can't see anything.

I can only feel the strong wind blowing.

Its anger driving me away from the pavement,

through the path that leads me to the catchment.

and there i shall fall, to the depths like a ball.

Where shall i go?, what shall i do?

deep within me i want to know

I have this feeling, I don't know why,

this seems like a moment to cry

A voice keeps telling me something is wrong,

that I can't just leave them be too long.

it appears there is nothing else I can do,

your decision is firm and hard to undo.

So if this is what you really want,

Like a genie, your wish, i shall grant.

But know that if you are certain to let go,

Í have but one wish for you too.

Close the door, lose the key

and please forget all the memory.
