You woke up the next morning, today was a Friday so you rush on your morning routines and grabbed your belongings when you're done.
Even though you lived closer to your school, you wanted to grab some food from the cafe and you would call Leo to join you but he didn't respond to your calls or texts.

Which was pretty weird because he would always respond.

So you just walked there alone, it was pretty lonely, you must admit.
Ever since you separated from your friends, life has gotten pretty boring.
Sure you get more time to study those crappy subjects and such, but you missed how your friends would fight over little things, making the scene look dramatic and out of some cliche drama like anime.
And you would miss the way your friends would make you laugh, all just because they started by giving silly faces, and sometimes do weird noises.

Just thinking about it made you smile a little, you wanted to hide the smile but it was too late.

"Y/n senpai! You're smiling!?"
Jack smiled widely as he walked up next to you, still having that goofy grin on his face.

You ignored him, and placed your wireless headphones on turning it on and putting your favorite music.
But then you remembered something, and frowned, you had to ask him, or else you'll be the one looking like a loner in the cafe.

Since it was still early, you took off your headphones and placed them away.
Then looked at Jack's direction, and noticed that he was already staring at you.

Creep much..?

Jack, had his arms shaking, eyes seeming to never look away from your angelic face, legs started shaking along with sweaty palms and blushing cheeks, smiled nervously.
His heart kept thumping louder and louder, and even more when you guys accidentally touched hands, gently brushing against each other.

"My wife...my everything..."
He whispered out.

You looked at him slightly confused, you thought he said something, while you two walked you gave up on your second thought and just went forward to what you wanted to ask.

"Do you wanna get some drinks from the cafe..? And Don't think ahead okay?"
You carefully said those words as you watched his reaction.
He eyes seemed to be closed shut and his palms were on his cheeks, he was smiling like crazy and moved his head left to right in a dancing manner.

"You do care! This is the best day of my life!"

You let out a sigh, and smiled lightly at his stupid, but dramatic action.

"Better than your goals at soccer?"

He nodded quickly, still having his palms on his cheeks and smiled even more.

"Better than that!"

You checked the time.
7:55am

"We better hurry."

He frowned and looked at you.
"Why..?"

"One...I like arriving early to have some alone time, and two...you're getting annoying already and we haven't even arrived at the cafe."

He stayed quiet.

Minutes later, you two arrived at the cafe, ordered, and waited in the the tall like tables with tall chairs.

You gotten out your small laptop and placed it on the table, turned it on, and quickly typed like no tomorrow.

"What are you doing?"

"Non..."

"What?"

"None of your business, I'm doing something here."

Jack frowned, he was so confused on how your nervous system works, and by that your emotions, does your stomach felt like it has butterflies such as his did?
Do you seem nervous when you're around him like before?

Before he thought you kept ignoring him because he denied your feelings, but now he figured it out.
You ignored him to like him less and less in such way.
He knew by asking your closest friends, which they always replied with a
"She's not a lover, she's a fighter."
And they explained it as a way of saying, she's not ready yet.

He kept thinking, he regretted not noticing you before.
In 8th grade, after that confession of hers, she seemed to appear in every single direction he's heading.
And she seems to appear on his mind like crazy, at first he thought it was guilt, but later he noticed that...

He really did love you...

And at the last day of school in 8th grade, he was expecting you to walk up to him to say farewells.
He kept turning to look at you, but you were saying farewells to other males and hugging some of them.
And when he saw you walking towards him, all you did was ignore him, and walk past him.

9th...you ignored him as well, and from afar he would watch you, scrolling through your phone in a sad manner.

10th, you weren't around much, but when he sees you during lunch, you rarely eat, and just laid your head on the table, silently sleeping.

11th, the same thing, but without sleeping. And you draw more than usual.
He would sometimes walk by your table to see if you would notice him...but you never did.

12th, You still never noticed him, until now at least, you talked to him a little more. But your eyes didn't held that light you had when you looked at him in 8th grade.

How he missed it...

How he craved the light in your eyes for him again...
