✿Introduction✿

You, Song Nara, you are 21 years old now. You live with your parents in the countryside and your house is small because you're poor.

Your dad works as a farmer and your mother is a housewife. You couldn't continue your studies because your parents didn't have enough money for it.

It was difficult at first, realizing that you cannot pursue your dreams as you really like studying but as days pass by, you just accept the fact and prefer taking care your parents yourself.

But problems start showing up in your life when your mom suddenly begins to suffer from an illness.

Your cruel destiny with him begins from here...

"I dont care what kind of job it is Minju. I really need it." you keep begging your friend, Minju.

She is the only hope you have. You have to send your mom to the hospital to get her treated. Yes! No matter what, you have to find money as soon as possible!

You are determined as her condition keeps getting more worst day by day.

"Yes, Nara I know that you really need money right now but don't you think that this job is not really suitable for a girl like you" Minju holds your hand and looks into your eyes seriously.

"Yes I'm sure I want to do this. You don't have to worry. I know what I am doing" You have to find money as fast as you can because your mom needs to get her surgery done by the end of the year so that she can get cured.

"Alright fine! Don't you ever tell me that I didn't warn you okay? I know that no one can stop your stubbornness" she sighs.

"Thanks Minju. I know you understand me" You say thankfully.

'Finally...'

Then you take the paper with the address on it from her and walk back to your house. Minju also told you that someone would meet you tomorrow and discuss about the job you will have to do.

You are so happy that you will finally have a job to earn some money. But deep inside your heart, you still dont know if what you are doing right now is good or bad.

Minju had reminded you that this job might be pretty dangerous and it's worrying you now.

"Stay strong Nara! I know you can do this... Just for mom" You say to yourself.

And your decision will never change....

"Mom please... how many times do I have to tell you? I said I'm fine with anything you pick for me! I will wear it" He claims, without even looking at Mrs Jeon.

Then, he continues his chat with Taehyung on the phone. He definitely detested his mom's act.

"But Jungkook, you haven't even tried putting on this suit yet! How would I know if this fits you or not honey?" Mrs Jeon keeps nagging at him and suddenly Jungkook's phone ringing, interrupts their conversation.

It's from Youngmi, his fiancé but, he just ignores it.

"Mom I'm telling you again that I don't care about this marriage! And I hope you will understand me. I just want the position only. That all!" Jungkook says before leaving the boutique.

Nothing else is important for him. "Got to go"

Mrs Jeon just shakes her head. "Why he always acting like this?"

Jungkook starts his car's engine and drives off to the club. "This is better than wasting my time doing nothing there." His phone starts ringing again and no doubt, that the call is surely from his fiancé.

Feeling frustrated as the phone keeps on ringing, he finally answers it.

"What do you want?! Look Youngmi I'm busy right now! Why do you always keep on calling me?" He rolls his eyes.

"Why baby? I thought you're free today like what your mom had said. I'm so sorry if I made you angry but I just wanted to go for a date with you" Youngmi says in a sulking tone which annoys him more.

He sighs. "I'm sorry Youngmi. I have something else to do right now. Let's meet up tomorrow but not today please. I hope you can understand" He replies lazily.

The only reason why he agreed to marry Youngmi was because he wanted a higher position in her father's company. That's the reason why he should also take good care of her feelings.

"Alright babe, let's meet tomorrow, and please no excuses okay? Bye. Love you" Youngmi ends the conversation with a flying kiss.

*COUGH COUGH*

"Mom are you okay?" you ask her worried, while placing the back of your hand on her forehead.

"Oh god you have a temperature!" Mom just gives you a smile while taking your hand from her forehead and holding it tightly.

She probably doesn't want you to be worried about her condition.

"Don't worry about this, it just a little temperature. I will be better tomorrow." seeing mom like this hurts you even more.

"Please promise me that you will to take care of your health properly" You say to her softly.

"Yes dear... I will" with that you kiss her forehead before heading to your bedroom.

P/S: Please continue keep yourself to read this maybe at least more than 1 or 2 chapter. As if u still not interested than u can stop reading it. x) I will try to make my next chapter more interesting! Don't judge the book just by the first only ;)
