(Chapter 1)
ZENDAYAS POV.
It has been 3 months since I last saw him. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Leave the love of my life, not knowing how he truly feels about me. We text almost every day, and I don't know if he truly likes me as more than a friend. Every time he says love you or gets flirty, the conversation usually ends with him calling me little sis. Every time I he says those two words I feel like I have been stabbed in the heart. Over and over again.
Tomorrow I get to see him for the first time since dwts ended. And I haven't been this nervous in a while. I don't know if I can go much longer pretending to be his "little sis." But honestly... I don't know if I have a choice.
*THE NEXT MORNING*
Ding! My phone goes off. I wondered who was texting me at 6 AM. I picked up my phone and read the text:
VAL:
Hey Daychka! :) sorry to wake you... Just wanted to let you know I'm on my way. Can't wait to see you<3
As a read the text my heart skipped a few beats as I sat there grinning at the sweet message. It's text like these that make me think he might actually like me as more than just a "little sis". I pick up my phone to reply to the message...
Zendaya:
I can't wait to see you either :)
I sat there hoping he would reply soon so I could go back to bed. But he never did so I slowly fell back to sleep.
I was awakened by the sound of a text message a couple hours later. DING! It was val.
Val: just landed! Can't wait to see you little sis! :)
....my heart sank. I don't understand. Sometimes he flirts like he truly likes me more than a friend.. it's like he is scared to admit it so he calls me little sis. But I may be completely wrong. It has probably never even crossed his mind. Who am I kidding... He only sees me as a kid, and nothing more.
Zendaya: see ya soon :)
Val:
Can't wait! I'll text you when I am almost at your place.
Zendaya:
Sounds good.
It has been almost 2 hours and val still hasn't texted me. Right as I am about to pick up my phone to call him, my phone goes off.
Val:
Come outside Daychka ;)
I scream as I read the text. I throw on a few sprays of perfume and head downstairs. I run to the door and open it. I have never been so excited in my entire life!
