Then somebody screamed.
Everyone stopped talking and turned to the noise.It was an 8 year old girl she was pointing out the window. As Mason looked at the window he could just see a large black shape run out of sight.
"How could I have been so stupid" growled the voice"I shouldn't have gone out now these idiot of a species have seen me"
"Did you hear that?"Mason asked Sammy
"Hear what?"She asked back
Before Mason could answer somebody shouted
"I saw it was a-a-a-a d-d-ag-gon"somebody screamed
Then the cafeteria exploded with chatter.But it was cut short by Mr Cresly
"Everyone please pay attention to me"He shouted over the shouts and laughter of the children."The principal told me to tell you that school will be ending early today"Everyone cheered"And if you don't leave in the next fifteen minutes you will be arrested"
Everybody dashed to the exit.As Mason and Sammy were leaving they heard discussions of the the black shape was.
"I think it was a frog who got ran over"
"It was obvesly someone's XXL underwear"said another
"You're all wrong it was Frankie's mom"another chuckled
"What were you saying about a noise Mason"?Sammy suddenly asked
"I-i heard a voice it said How could I have been so stupid I shouldn't have gone out.Now these idiot of a species have seen me.
Mason answered
"I didn't hear anything and what idiot species?"
"Wait school ended early that probally means you don't have detention" Sammy added suddenly
"Oh yeah I guess"
"Hey Mason you should study with all the extra time"she told him
"Yeah hey what do you think that thing was outside"Mason asked
"Most normal people would say it was a kite or a rational explanation." Sammy answered."But I'm not normal so I think it was a................................DRAGON"
They went out the door of the school.
"Well see ya later"Mason said as he ran off.
As Mason ran off he was deep in thought about the voice the black thing and the maths test.Then he ran into a poll.
