Today was Niall's and my 2 year anniversary together. But sadly, I had to get to work. I woke up earlier than usual, so I could get to work and finish it early so Niall and I could do whatever. Before leaving, I go to our room and give him a quick kiss on the cheek. I head off and go to my job twenty minutes early.
At work, all I could think about was Niall. Almost anything reminded me of him. Food, laughter,some of my co-workers, and all the pictures I have of him. I wish I could have taken the day off, but I've been late too many times and both of our jobs are important to us. And finally, at 5 o'clock on the dot (5:00 sharp if you didn't know) I got to leave. I immediately headed out the building and got into my car. Before I went back to the flat, I texted him.
I'll be home in 10 minutes. Can't wait to finally celebrate! :D -Rheyna
I put my phone away and drove back to the flat.
I fumbled for my keys when I got to the front of the flat. I finally find them and unlock the door. "Niall I'm home!" I shout. No response. I step into the living room. On the floor I find my favorite flowers starting a trail. I set down my bag on the couch and followed the trail of flowers. The flowers led me to our room, and there was a dress and a note on the bed.
Hey princess, can't wait to see you! I'm taking you somewhere special tonight. Wear this dress and get ready for the best night of your life. Call Louis once you are done getting ready. He'll drive to you to where I am.

I took a shower since I worked so hard. Once I got done I put on my makeup and curled my hair. I admired the dress for a bit and slipped it on, and it fit perfectly on me. Eleanor's taste in clothes is fabulous. Once I put on the finishing touches, I called Louis.
"Hey Louis."
" Hi Rheyna! You ready? Niall has something suprising for you."
"Yeah. Can't wait to see him."
"Okay. I'll get there as soon as possible."
We both hung up. While waiting, I admired my figure in the mirror. I twirled around a couple of times to make sure everything was okay. A lot of thoughts were jumbled in my head wondering what would happen tonight.
Minutes later, I heard the doorbell ring. I went downstairs and greeted Louis at the doorstep. "You look stunning. No wonder our Nialler loves you," he complimemts, being a total gentlemen. "Thank you Louis," I say. "And thank Eleanor for me since she chose this amazing dress." We head into his car as he drove to the place. The car ride was pretty silent. I didn't bother to ask where we were going. I was just admiring the view outside. It was fairly dark outside, so the lights were shining brightly in my eyes.
We arrived at a wharf. This must be interesting, I thought. "Enjoy Rheyna," Louis says gesturing me towards the dock. "Thanks Louis." I say waving. I walk towards the dock. As I get closer and closer, I see a silhouette. Then I figure out the obvious: its Niall. I try to run to him, but my heels are slowing me down. When I get to him, he kisses me on the cheek.
"Hi princess," he greets. "You look absolutely gorgeous." I start blushing. "Well at least I'm here," I say smiling. "Come on," he says, taking my hand. We walk towards a boat. Its pretty big and spacious. There's a candlelit table in the center. We get on the boat and sit down at the table. The boat starts going slowly as we sit and chat.
The boat stopped and the first part of the meal came. The view was spectacular. It was dark,but with the moonlight shining on the water. After we finsihed, the the entree came. It was seafood pasta and it looked so good. We kept on eating until desert came.
"I love this day,Niall." I say, glancing at the water.
"But this isn't even over," he responds, a smirk coming onto his face.
Then dessert comes on a tray and it's put in front of me. I gasp as there is a cake with the frosting reading "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" and the ring on a corner. Tears form in my eyes as he gets down on one knee and asks me the question.
"Rheyna, I have loved you ever since I met you and from that day, I knew you would always be mine. You helped me through the ups and downs and look where we are now. Two years together. Or do you want to make it forever?"
"Yes...yes! I want us to be forever." I say through sobs. We hug and he puts the ring on my left ring finger. Then we kiss as a violinist plays the melody of Half a Heart. The kiss was long and passionate.
We arrived back at the dock and got off. We thanked everyone who was there: the captain, violinist, and chefs. Then we headed back to the flat to start our first night together as "soon to be married" people.
"You know, I like calling you my fiancée," I say as I lie on top of him.
"I can't wait for the day when I get to call you Mrs. Rheyna Horan."
"I like the sound of that. Now when are we getting married..."
