Chapter 3
That morning I woke up and rolled over to look at my alarm it was 10 am my first lie-in since I had come to LA, the sun was shining through the blinds, which made me excited to get up. I loved the weather in LA it was so nice and sunny most of the time. I got up put my bikini on and put some shorts and a blouse on over my bikini then grabbed a towel and my bag and went down to the sun lounges to catch some sun. I slipped my shorts of and took my blouse over my head and started applying sun lotion to my bronzed skin, then I lay down on the sun lounger and put my ear phones on and put my music on. As 'one direction-one thing' I felt my body start moving to the beat it was one of my favourite songs ever just as I got into it I felt something smack my bum really hard
"Ouch!” I complained only to be greeted by Danielle laughing and she was sitting on the sun lounger next to me.
"Hey" she greeted me
"Hey how are you today?"
"I'm good thanks how are you? You looking forward to tonight I know I am arrhh!” Her words where rushed and high pitched as her excitement grew
"Yer I'm good thanks some gimp hurt my bum though!” I shot her a look then laughed "yer I'm looking forward to tonight I can't wait I'm soo nervous though" I said shyly
“Why nervous?"
"That they won't like me" I said quietly
"Don't be silly of course they will like you!, well they already do like you" she said as she flashed me a wink then slapped my bum and got up and jumped in the pool "come on girl get your ass in the pool now!” She shouted, so I followed her in doing my best belly flop in the water making sure I splashed her as I hit the water. We were like a pair of big kids in the water doing hand stands and splashing each other, then I heard my phone going off so I jumped out of the pool and ran over to answer it I got there just in time, it was Lauren yay I was soo happy to speak to her and I made Danielle come over and speak to her as Lauren loved danielle and Eleanor as much as she loved the boys. Lauren was so excited I could hear her screaming so Danielle said she would get the boys to Skype her I am sure I herd her start cry. Then after we spoke to Lauren for about an hour, we looked at the time and it was 5 pm we looked at each other and mouthed the word "shit" at the same time. we jumped up and ran up to the room to start getting ready for tonight, Danielle stopped at her door and turned to look at me before saying
"I'm still getting ready in your room so will come round in about 30 mins just going jump in the shower 1st"
"Ok that's fine yay girly time whilst getting ready" I was actually looking forward tonight I was just so nervous at the same time, 30 mins later there was a knocking at my door luckily I had just got out of the shower, so I went and opened the door to see danielle stood there in her pjs so I chuckled and stepped aside to let her in. As we were getting ready, I went and stood opposite the mirror and a moan escaped my lips as I looked at my face and hair. I was pretty enough to be seen with these boys they where the definition of perfection I was just average I had long thick sandy blonde hair, blue eyes the only thing I was proud of was my figure I was a curvy size 10 I used to be bigger when I was younger so I was happy to now be a size 10. Danielle came over and rested her chin on my shoulder she was so naturally pretty her and Liam where perfect for each other!,
"Your gorgeous" she said smiling at my reflection in the mirror
"Erm thanks but not you’re gorgeous" I said smiling back at her reflection
"Well the boys seem to disagree with your thoughts they think your hot" she flashed a wink in my direction, I felt my face burn again And she just laughed pulling me away from the mirror I sighed and let her drag me to the bedroom she sat me on the bed and told me to close my eyes
"Why am I closing my eyes I'm supposed to be getting ready?" I asked confused
"I'm going to give you a makeover arh I love doing peoples makeup and hair it’s so exciting!" She sang to me I just laughed and replied "can't make me look worse so do your worst" she sighed and started putting foundation on my face. I sang along to the music as she continued to do my makeup and hair. Finally, after what felt like forever she finished
"I'm done but now don't open your eyes as I have to pick your outfit out now"
"Ok nothing to dressy please" I pleaded
"Ok but you have to wear what I give you whether you like it or not" she told me, I just laughed knowing I wasn't winning this argument. She then told me to open my eyes and put the clothes on, there was a pair of blue skinny jeans and loose hanging white vest top with a black blazer black heels and a scarf I put it on and looked in the mirror "woow danielle your a miracle worker" I was shocked I looked pretty
"You look amazing!" She assured me, we sat around talking until there was a knock at the door a little squeal escaped Danielle lips as she jumped up grabbing me as she ran to the door she flung it open and there was the 5 amazing boys she threw her arms around Liam, there was also a beautiful brunette girl holding hands with Louis, danielle introduced me it was Eleanor she'd taken a break from modelling and decided to come and see you for a bit, how romantic I thought to myself. We started to walk down the hall and I was walking hand in hand with danielle when she turned round to the boys and asked "how hot does Vicky look tonight?" I could have killed her my face went bright red and I let my hair hide my face as I looked at the floor,
"Yer she looks lovely" I heard Harry's familiar voice say followed by Zayn agreeing "yer she does"
Shock took over from my embarrassment did they really just say that, I looked at danielle and she winked at me, I was a bit gutted that Niall hadn't said anything seen as I had a soft spot for him 'I suppose I'm not his type he probably has lots of amazing girls after him' I kept telling myself. When we got to the restaurant. I sat opposite Niall, Harry was sat next to me. It felt so serial like it was a dream I pinched myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming, I started talking to the boys about how well they was doing and what they where up to and what they had done the conversations parted of into their own conversations I found myself gazing into Niall's eyes more often than I should and I was so happy when he started to talk to me, telling me stories about his family and meeting fans and stuff. Soon enough it was 12 am and the restaurant was closing so we all stood up and made our way back to the hotel where we all squeezed into the lift me Niall, Liam and Danielle go out of the lift and we said bye to the others danielle and Liam said their goodbyes when they go to Danielle's room. Niall took my hand and we carried on walking to my room we stood outside for a minute and I took in what he was wearing he had a red polo top on with brown chinos and some red high tops and his hair spiked up, I was the same height as him now as I had my tallest heels on. I gazed into his eyes and felt the heat rush to my face his fingers still entwined with mine, little electric impulses jolting through my body where he touched my skin. He leaned in and gave me a hug and whispered in my ear "you look amazing tonight, erm not that you didn't the other day cos you always look pretty" he trailed of I just hugged him back I was in such shock then my phone went off and I pulled out the hug and he kissed me on the cheek and he disappeared down the hall. I opened my door and looked at my phone "LAUREN" I shouted I answered it quickly she asked how my day was and I just screamed down the phone
"Vicky what the hell!! What's happened? How was your meal?" I told her about the conversations about Niall saying I looked amazing and how he gave me a kiss on the check, we spoke for hours and when I looked at my phone it was 2.30 am
"shit Lauren its 2.30 am I have to be up in 2.30 hours I have to go but I will ring you tomorrow or later I promise" as we said our goodbyes and I went to bed.
