"Beep. Beep. Beep. Bleep. Bleep. Bleep EEEEEEEE. WAKE THE HELLO KITTY UP!"
"Stupid alarm clock," I mutter.
"Mom! Liliana said stupid," my little sister Anne whines.
"Anne, Anne, Anne. Was that you making the alarm clock impersonations? And shut up. It's only," I glance at my white Snoopy alarm clock and say,"8:45 am?" I jump out of my bed and almost slip on my cherry hardwood floors because of my socks.
My ride Micheal must have already left me.
"Out," I say to Anne, "I'm almost late for school." She nods her head, her blonde curls bouncing all over the place, her face filled with understanding but her gem blue eyes are sad.
She leaves my room and shuts the door. I sigh; maybe I shouldn’t be so hard on her.
I push the thought out of my mind and run into the bathroom for a shower. I strip off my old sweats and throw them on the ground. I wash and scrub hurrying through the shower. Finally, I climb out my bathtub and wrap my hair in a towel. I slip and slide into my room. Not bothering to towel off. I run in my closet and put on black undergarments and a white long sleeve shirt. I grab a black lace vest and a grey ruffle skirt and put them on. I put on black lace tights and flats. I towel off my hair and put it in a messy ponytail. I applied my make-up on and grabbed my make-up bag.
I grab my long baggie hoodie and run downstairs.
"Nice to see you made it for breakfast, Liliana," My step-mother Kristina said.
"It's rude to lie, Kristina," I retorted.
My father chuckled but said nothing. My step-mom glared at him. I walked into the kitchen and put my make up bag down. I walked to the cubert and grabbed two pieces of bread. I opened the fridge and grabbed lettuce. I rip off some lettuce and put it on one piece of bread I walk to the stove and put bacon on the other piece of bread. I cut up some tomatoes and put tomatoes on both pieces.
I wrapped my sandwich in aluminum and grabbed my make-up bag. I start to walk out the kitchen but my path is block by someone. I look up and see my step brother Danny in the way.
"Hey, beautiful."
"Danny, move I'm late. We can have this conversation later," I say pushing him out of the way.
"I'll remember, Lily."
"Blah, blah go die," I mutter.
I ran out the kitchen and through the dining room. I grab my book bag off the coach and stuffed my make-up bag in it. I head for the front door. I slightly open the door when, it slams back and pushes me down.
I look outside and see that it was raining buckets. The wind was blowing hard, slamming the door against the wall, leaves were falling off of trees, and cable wires were shaking.
It was a regular storm but on my bike, it's hell.
I sigh and slide my hoodie on. I lock the front door and run to the garage. I sit on my bike, soaked from the rain, and ride out of my garage. Promising my self I will never wake up late ever again.
***************************
I will never again ride through the rain on my bike.
I had made it to my first period class. I had walked to my desk with my shoes squeaking.
I glanced around the room and found my bestfriend Micheal giving me an apologetic look. But it's okay I don't blame him for leaving it was very late.
There were giggles but of course I shut the perpetrators up with a glare. There were always glares and giggles everyday, mostly from girls, even when I was completely normal.
I was shaking so hard and dripping so much that the teacher sent me to the nurses office. I went to the nurses office but she wouldn't entend me til I cleaned up.
Finally, I arrived into the empty bathroom. And I have to say I don't look so hot. My hair had fallen out of its ponytail. Now my hair was tangled and was sticking up in odd angles. My eyeliner and mascara was running down my face creating tire tracks. To make matters worse my sweater was so soaked it was creating puddles around me.
But I had my make-up bag.
I throw my sweater into my book bag an pull out my make-up bag. I take out my comb and brush my hair out of my face and into a ponytail again. I wash my face in the sink and dried my face with a paper towel. I crumpled the paper and threw it in the trash.
I applied a thick layer of eyeliner and a insane amount of mascara. I apply my pale pink lipstick and straighten out my clothing. My clothes weren't really wet just slightly damp, my sweater took in most of the water.
I put all my items in my bookbag and slugged it on. I walk out the bathroom and to my next class, no way was I going to the nurses office for being wet. It's ridiculous.
I ran down the hallway to my next class, how long must have I been in the bathroom cleaning up my messy self up.
I sigh. Let me just try to make it through the day,
I scurry down the hall, but of course me getting to class can't be that easy. I trip and fall in one of the hottest guys I ever seens arms and a firey sensation happens between us.
