The day after Crazen had found the whelp, Crazen had taught the whelp how to walk, helping him to walk slowly and out of of the tree. The whelp wobbled but had seemed to get the basics of walking, and Crazen noticed that his new whelp friend was afraid of the other animals that would pass by, and so, on the second day, Crazen showed the whelp the other creatures that passed through the crater. The whelp seemed mainly interested in butterflies and smaller creatures, trying to follow them.

The whelp was hardly smaller than Crazen himself, the whelp's scales were a midnight black, like Crazen's own scales. The other whelp also continued saying 'Dada' as if it were the only words the whelp knew. Crazen did his best to communicate, but everytime Crazen would scratch something in the dirt with his claws, the younger whelp seemed to have no idea how to read. Crazen taught the other whelp how to mimic sounds, like Crazen's chittering, which was a new way for them to communicate.

On the second day, Crazen taught the whelp how to look around for food. Crazen used his chittering noises to direct the other whelp, who'd seemed to pick up quickly on Crazen's instructions. Crazen and the other whelp would run around together and collect berries, and as it is with young whelps, they'd pounce and play. Though Crazen never was rough with the other whelp, they both had fun.

Things seemed wonderful until the sixth day, when a large draconic figure flew over the crater slowly as if looking for something. Crazen kept the other whelp hidden, noticing the twilight scales of the larger dragon that flew in the sky. A twilight dragon. He'd been taught that the twilight were evil, so Crazen did his best to keep the other whelp hidden, just in case.

On the morning of the third day is when things took another bad turn. Crazen and the other whelp were both resting when Crazen heard footsteps echoing outside of the tree. He'd gotten up on all fours, waddling to the entrance to see who or what it was. He was greeted with a humanoid figure dressed so that he could not see who they were. In an instant Crazen had been flung against the wall, and Crazen had fallen into unconsciousness.

When Crazen had woken up what could only be a few hours later, he noticed scorch marks on the tree and small claw marks in the ground, as if something had been forcefully dragged away. It was then Crazen looked to see the other whelp gone. Crazen began to tear up and chittered loudly, running outside of the crater, seeing some of the smaller trees ingulfed in twilight fire. Crazen ignores the trees, running around, chittering as loud as he can for the other whelp. After hours of searching, Crazen finds nothing. He hears a loud boom and a male voice echoes;

"Are you looking for someone?"

To Crazen's left lay a large blue wyrm, an old dragon indeed. He backs away, frightened by the appearence of such a large creature, but the old dragon simply brings a claw forward, grasping Crazen and bringing him forward.

"Don't be afraid, young one. I can tell you're missing someone aren't you? The state your home is in tells me who, but we'll get to that shortly. I'll introduce myself, I am Narylagos. What is your name?"

Crazen only chitters in response as he cannot speak.

"Ah, mute aren't we? Well, let's go find your friend. If your friend is who I think they are, then it would explain why a certain someone came through here."

Crazen gave Narylagos a confused look, but Narlygos tosses Crazen onto his back, Crazen digging his claws into the crook of the large blue dragon's scales. The dragon stood, flapping his large wings and lifting into the sky.

"If I am correct on my assumption about your friend, the one that took your friend is Garaxion. Garaxion is a Twilight wrym, and quite an unstable one at that. He's mad and conducts horrid experiments on whelps like you and your friend. The journey will be long, so I'd suggest you get as much rest as you can. Garaxion isn't easy to defeat, you know. He's quite the horrid creature."

Crazen lets out a huff, laying on the dragon's back, though still clinging on. He didn't really trust Narylgos at all.

"You may not trust me, young one, but I ask that you do now."

Crazen chittered again, had the dragon heard what he was thinking-

"I can hear your thoughts, yes."

Crazen yelps, thinking; 'But how?'

"It's simple, young one, I'm a blue. Is there any more explanation you need?"

'I have never met a dragon from the blue dragonflight before.'

"How surprising. While you can communicate, do tell me about yourself."

'Well... my name.. my name's.. Crazen. I live in the crater down there by myself.'

"By yourself? Have you no kin to go to?"

'No.'

"I'm sorry to hear such a thing, Crazen. Now, please tell me about your friend."

'Well... he hatched a few days ago.. his egg just arrived there. I don't know how it got there. When he hatched he called me 'Dada'. He has black scales like me and yellow eyes.'

"Stharakian is your friend then. You may've gotten your name after you hatched, but Sth's name was already chosen. I'm assuming his father thought the tree was safe. But it seems Garaxion knew."

'Why does Garaxion want Sth for ex..experi..'

Naryl laughs. "Experiments. Likely for 'research'. Though Stharakian is likely suffering a lot. Hopefully we can save him in time. Garaxion's had his eye out for Sth since the day his egg was laid. Nobody knows why he took sudden interest. Now Crazen, please get some rest. We have a long journey ahead of us."

Crazen lets out a sigh, worried. He slowly drifts to sleep, thinking of Stharakian and Garaxion, hoping that Sth would be okay.
