Both Kevin and Edd are on summer break from college and they both do different things during that time. Kevin leaves for the summers to work on his grandparents (or maybe Rolf's) farm out in the country part of PC to earn some extra money and keep busy. Edd is usually inside studying for the next semester/year and doing research to get ahead. However this summer Edd needs to do a research paper on (insert smart subject here) but the only issue is that he needs to do physical research AND the only place he can do that is the closest farm.. which happens to be where Kevin is.
How do the boys deal with this? What happens during their summer together? Does it last or is it just a summer fling?
