Daughter of Poseidon and Artemis (Goddess series)

Prologue

I can hear it ........the waves..the waves crashing at night.The water retreating at slow yet fast pace,back into the ocean.I wake up every day to these sounds sense I live near the beach.But this time its different.

Something had woken me up in the middle of the night and it wasn't the waves........

You might think I'm crazy or I'm imagining things but you don't understand.You see I'm one of Poseidon and Artemis's 4 children.Me being the second oldest at 15 ....turning 16 in 2 days (Woo!!).I'm slowly gaining my powers.

I see,that I may still be confusing you.

Dad did say that mortals were confused easily.Well lets start from the beginning.

My goddess name is Aakella.Though sense I am not  a full goddess yet (until my 16 bday) I can't take control on what ever the elder gods and goddess (our council including both my parents)choose for me to control.

My human name which I like better(don't tell Zeus that!!) is Alexa Luna Maze. I have three siblings.Two sisters and one brother. My eldest sibling would be my dear sister Lilly (Liliana is her goddess name) she's 2 years older than me at 18 years of age.My Little brother Priece (Princim) who is a year younger than me(and is a total trouble maker)at the age of 15.And the youngest of us all Ezra (Ezari) who is only 12 years old.

We all take the last name Maze to kinda tell the difference from our other siblings our parents have had in the past (with humans or other gods before they settled down together)and to make us more close like a real family(not that we don't like our other siblings!!We just don't see them as often!!).

Mom's human name is Aria and Dad's is Peter(lame I know).They live with us in the mortal realm(earth),where they have been raising us as a real family (not as commen as it should be in Olympus).

In the mortal realm,Dad is a famous Marine Biologist (duh!);Mom is a Famous Archery Teacher(also DUH!).

My sister Lilly and I are well known around the world as Singers/Actresses known as "The Maze Sisters" (We live in California and are really famous so its a little hard to keep our secret a well secret.).

Anyway lets go back to why I woke up shall we?

Well like I said before I woke up to something...Something ere at most....I got out of bed and headed to my balcony (which I share with my siblings) it was dark out.I seemed to be alone.I walked up to the railing and stood there,looking out into the dark sky above the dark crashing waves of the ocean.

It looks like a storms coming our way I thought as I watched the dark clouds blend in with the already dark ocean in the horizon.

I was so focused,I didn't notice my Lilly come up behind me with a far away look in her eyes."Dad's found another victim tonight Alex."I jumped slightly surprised that she was behind me.

It took me a moment to take in her words before making sense of them.I looked back at her "What do you mean Lilly?"I asked confused at what she meant.

By now her eyes were back to normal as she looked sympathetically away from the sea and to me "Dad's found another traitor Alex." I looked away.I knew what dad was doing to those 'Traitors' I didn't like it.I didn't like the idea of my sweet and caring dad doing something so cruel.

Lilly put her arm around my shoulders trying to give me some comfort.She knows how I feel about mum or dad doing things like that.She's couldn't agree more."How about we go back inside Lexi??I'll even make you some of my world famous hot coco?"I gave Lilly a small smile and went back inside with my sister.But I could help but think that in a few short years my younger brother and sister will be going through this too.
