Deceiving
Taunting

They danced til the far ends
Fell apart
Tore the heart
And opened up again
They slithered through the painted sky
Echoing through the soul
Playing with the mind
Dangerously living on the edge
They pulsed through life
Pumping blood into your veins
Lingering for just a moment
The memory, staying on the skin
They screamed out into the night
Burning through the pages
Broke away from the end
Turning to a new beginning
They begged to be remembered, to stay
Only to be shot down once again
Hungering for a taste of passion
Delivering only torment to the soul
They darted through the pain
Tossing remains into the oblivion
Consuming the shattered pieces
Regretting the fall
