Vlad downed 4 blood bags, but his stomach still rumbled with need. Otis cast him a concerned glance, but Vlad shook it off and continued to read his book... He could feel his uncles eyes on him making him feel slightly uncomfortable but he still didn't speak. Both of them sat in Stoney silence. Otis broke it seeing that Vlad obviously had no intentions of speaking. "There's something I would like to discuss with you, Vladimir." Vlad sighed and raked his black bangs from his dark eyes. He knew what uncle Otis wanted to talk about but he
didn't want to hear it. Otis continued. "Your hunger has increased significantly over the past couple of months and it's starting to concern me. Your struggling with it, I can tell." With that, Vlad looked up at his uncle. He looked tired and stressed, to say In the least. He had dark bags under his blue eyes, and had a stubble. His hair was carelessly ruffled up and he looked like someone addicted to a drug who was trying to withdrawal. Vlad frowned. He didn't like seeing his uncle like this and he would do anything to put his worries to rest. "I'm fine, Otis you don't need to worry about me. I'm not even that hungry." Vlad was surprised with how easily the lie left his lips. Even he wasn't so sure if he believed his now too old excuse anymore. Vlad could tell Otis was thinking the same thing when he shot his nephew a look that screamed "your not fine" and continued with his lecture. "I'm afraid that if your hunger is not satiated soon then you will lose control and hurt someone you hold dear." Upon hearing this, Vlad chocked on his orange juice. He knew what his uncle was getting at. How could Otis think such things of his nephew?? His only nephew! Vlad Could feel his anger boiling up to his head and he felt himself losing control of the situation... And fast. Using vampiric strength, he pounded his fist on the wood table causing it to splinter. "What exactly are you implying, uncle Otis? That I'm going to hurt someone?? Do you really think I would do that?!" Otis sighed and shook his head. He didn't know any other way to make his nephew understand he couldn't ignore his hunger... So he had to give him tough love whether he wanted to hear it or not. "Yes, Vladimir that's exactly what I'm saying! You have to feed from the source ... The blood bags just are not keeping your hunger satisfied anymore. Also there's nothing like feeding from the source..." Vlad stubbornly crossed his arms like an angry 4 year old not getting his way. "No! I'd rather starve then feed form the source! I don't find pleasure in hurting people! If my dad could do it, so can I!' Otis turned red . "Vladimir Tod don't make me use mind control. I will not hesitate. I have watched you ignore this long enough and if you don't take some precautions soon, your going to do something to Henry I fear... So Vlad-" Vlad was raging. He cut his Uncle off and growled "DONT YOU DARE BRING HENRY INTO THIS!" raging, he exited the house and slammed the door behind him as hard as he could.
