- PERRIE -
Cheering, screaming, applauding. It seems like the noise the audience are making will never stop. I don't mind. I like it. It fills me with adrenaline and happiness. I could perform one more song because this is the funniest thing I know. During the last few minutes I've done what I, for such a long time, used to do in front of the mirror in my bedroom. I, with my three best friends, have just performed on a big stage, something that has always been a distant dream for me.
"Little Mix!" we are presented, and the audience continue to cheer. The four of us quit posing to thank the audience for applauding and liking our performance.
"How does it feel for you girls to be back on the same stage where you won this competition three years ago?"
Jesy decides to answer the question, as usual. However, it doesn't matter because we all feel the same way about being back. It feels surreal. It's like time stopped and we're still livng in 2014.
"It feels surreal, really. We can't believe it's been two whole years since we stood on this stage. It's crazy!"
"And you girls have done so much; released albums and troued in many countries, among others."
"We all feel so lucky, you know. We all love siging and performing and it's amazing that we actually can do this for a living. It's all because our fans." Jade answers. I look at her and smile big. My beautiful Jade.
"Yes, your fans... They are quite amazing, yeah?"
"Yes!" Jesy answers. "They are incredible, really. Without them we would've come nowhere."
"They are indeed. Thank you for your wonderful performance; Little Mix!"
We all wave and smile to the crowd before we walk off the stage. When we get off the stage and the show continues on stage, the four of us get into a group hug.
"We were so good, girls." Leigh says excitedly. "How amazing was that?"
"It was so cool. I had the same feeling I had during our final performance two years ago." I smile. The others agree. We separate to walk back to our dressing room.
While walking in one of the hundred corridors in this building, Jade grabs my hand. I flinch and pull my hand back.
"Jade!" I whisper, annoyed.
"Oh, come on! Nobody's here."
"You know we can't risk it, Jade. You know it will ruin everything."
"Not holding hands! You're holding Jesy's hand when you guys walk in the street and nobody thinks you're together. Why can't we just hold hands in a friendly way right now?"
"Because it's different." I say and continue to walk. "They would notice."
"How? You're holding hands the exact same way?" Jade asks me more than she states it.
"It's not the same."
"Well, I don't think anybody would be suspicious if we held hands right now, but..." Jade sighs. Half a second later I feel her hand grabbing my bum and I jump because I didn't expect that.
"Jade!" I shout after her as she runs away from me, laughing.
