When you plan an essay, you must have the minimum requirements in mind. Create an outline. For my last essay, my outline went something like this:
Paragraph 1) Introduction) Men in the story have agency over everyone else. Causing others to rebel, only for them to be humiliated for it.
Paragraph 2) Body 1) Summarize male power and roles in story
Paragraph 3) Body 2) Summarize male power in story [2]
Paragraph 4) Body 3) Summarize little female power in story
Paragraph 5) Body 4) Summarize little female power in story [2]
Paragraph 6) Body 4) Summarize female resilience
Paragraph 7) Body 5) Summarize female humiliation due to resilience
Paragraph 8) Body 6) Cite other plays
Paragraph 9) Conclusion) Female characters in the story are humiliated when they try to rebel and do the right thing or get out of their own problems due to male power.
The minimum amount of paragraphs I had to have was six paragraphs minimum. Make it as long as you possibly can. It's like a file cabinet. Each file is a different paragraph, and you put the evidence for each paragraph into the file. Write down quotes before you write. Get other sources or other copies of the book. Planning is important, and always go for a minimum of six paragraphs. If you have four paragraphs, find a way to make it six.
