The political system of Earth Kingdom is not as adequate as they think it is. It is divided into lower and upper class. The lower class suffers from hunger and lack of attention from the government. Causing for thousands of death because of hunger and different kinds of diseases. There is an uprise of rebellions causing a revolution to happened and weakened the system.
In an old mansion in Roddergo, a village famous for gold and minerals, there lives a mother and her daughter. They were the family of the famous archeologist, Tristan Ru. He died 3 years ago after defending a gemstone that has the energy to synthesize life, from thieves.
Lizelle Ru, the daughter of Tristan, became a great citizen of Roddergo and become well-known for her great show of kindness in helping her village in digging up golds by using the power of earth and selling it to the city. Everything change when her mother got sick. A plague has begun in their village and continuing to spread drastically. The doctors in the village can not find cure. She travel the Earth Kingdom to find remedy only realizing that the gemstone that they stole from her father can possibly cure her mother's sickness and the plague in her village.
"Earth is an element of Hope" Lizelle proudly tell it to her illed mother.
"it also an element of waiting and listening", holding Liz's hands and trying to convince her daughter.
"Mother, you can't wait for something to happen", she insisted.
"You can and it will always cause you good....", she cough and her breathing becomes more harder and deeper making her talk no more.
"But in this case, people are dying and the goverment is not doing anything. Not only you but also people here in Roddergo are dying because of the plague", pleading to her mother.
" Sometimes we must force the hands of fate", Liz tightly holds the hand of her dying mother showing determination.
She waited till her mother fell asleep. She geared up and kneeled at the altar in the corner of the mansion and pray. After a minute passed, she stood up, get the map beside the statue of her father and silently leaved their mansion. As she walks in the forests, memories of her childhood friend appeared on her mind. The sound of a bird distracted her in her memory lane.
She reach a tall old building residing near a river. She remove her shoes and hold the ground then closes her eyes and she felt the vibrations of different kind of energy inside the building. The vibration she felt was what she is finding. A similar sensation she felt when she was with her father before he died. It only means one thing to her, a change is near.
She enters the building and scouted the main floor. The building seems to be abandoned. She strike the floor with her foot and feel where the strange vibration comes from. She headed directly to the room on the third floor which she found a gem sparkling in green color. The equipments sorrounding the gem has caught her attention. She touch it and felt a rumbling of gears and pistons. It is partially turned off or in stand by.
Liz became tense when she hears foot steps coming from the main floor. She looked at the window and find herself sorrounded by military cars that raises the flag of Fire Nation. She put the gemstone in her bag and take off. She jumped at the window thinking its the best way of escape since the building is all sorrounded, raising his hands and pointed both of his feet to the ground.
The ground scrambles as she landed destroying some of the military cars. Liz caught the attention of the army. She created an earthen wall to block the incoming army. A fire has been blasted directly to her coming from different direction but she had nullified it by creating an earth coating to herself. More of the fire army comes out and sorrounded her.
