Chapter One.

Tayler Blue walked Parenora High's wide corridors, avoiding collision from by passing and still standing vessels. Today was going to be along day, he could feel it by the air currents flowing across his cheek, and the slow mangle of noise whooshing gently past his ear. Like a suiting and hunting melody from M83 -Midnight Citythe inaudible nose pulsed around him, all of them in there own world oblivious to his.

Trascendido— transcended to see and sense beyond that which is humanly possible. It was his ability allowing him to peruse his pray. His pray being children not that he ate them Tayler was a El Cucuy, a coco or more commonly know as boogeyman, but he was hardly a man at the age of sixteen, unlike the legend say; the bogeyman kidnaped and ate children the true story behind the myth was a bit different. Tayler needed to scare them, feed and suck out there fear, for that was his daily food, that was what sustained him. Tayler could not fear, he didn't know the meaning of the word for there was nothing that can scare fear it self or so he was taught. He looked mostly human unless he turned on his fear it was then when his appearance took on his prays deepest drakes terror and give it a face, a body, tentacles and claws or,—Tayler shuddered— …human hands.

What he really hated about being a boogieman was when his appearance took on the form of a loved one that should protect the child and not scare them. Tayler could tats the fear, and with it the images present there in. And when he sucked at that kind of fear it left him with a vouil case of nausea, stomach cramps and just plain feeling shitty, like today. He shook his head as he finally reached his own locker and the world a round him turned back to normal speed.

A hand on his shoulder made him turn around.

Pointy ears twitched and sad ink black eyes stare back down at Bennett Salvatore. Tayler always looked said. Even when he smiled his eyes was sad. Regardless of that the face of the seven foot Giant looked sweetly innocent and almost delicate. Definitely not what one would expect a face of boogeyman to look like, and Tayler looked like a boogeyman, brood chest, large shoulders with powerful thick arms and lags.  Shit Bennett could curl up against Taylor and get permanently lost in that meaty body of a hunk. But behind all that laid a sad, silent teenager Bennett was madly in love with. A true gentile giant— shit boogeyman.

Bennett grinned, his heavy haired brown brows meat in the center, and beard smile full of fangs.

Taylor complied but as expected his tin lips hardly lift in what could be called a smile.

Before either of the two could speak, a bang nose echoed of from there left. The faint smell of blood teased everyone student with heightened scent's nostrils, Bennett reqinesed it belonging to his brother and as both his and Tayler gaze landed on the group he saw Derick pull Ben's face from a locker, probably the one Ben was slammed into.

Bennett growled and stomped off, fellow students rushed to get out of his path as he came to the group surrounding his twin.

"Unnatural," Derick said and spat. Bennett placed a firm hand on the seniors shoulder, digging his nails into Derick's flesh forcing him to turn and face Bennett.

At 5 foot 6 and 178 lb, Bennett was no much for the disgusting troll, with its pail green skin, freckles and warts and other things Bennett dear not name, but Bennett's stature and frame wasn't important when one had the super strength like most werewolf's do.

"Touch my brother again and I rip your spine out Derick." Bennett's voice boomed load through the corridor plunging it in to complete and utter silence.

It would be a matter of minuets before one of the teacher came rushing to that voice, Bennett knew better to use his alpha voice on school ground, or on a fellow student.

"Get" Tyler roared darkly behind Bennett, the colossal boogeyman's shadow towered over even the troll and his minions. Quickly they dispatched, uttering nothing.

Bennett turned to Ben. Ben sat on the floor, blood running from his nose and back pack smack in the middle of his opened legs.

"Here let me look" Bennett bent and cupped Ben's cheek brushing away the dark hair that hang over Ben's glasses that set a skew. It seem that they where the only ones that never broke when someone picked on poor Ben.

"I'm fine!" Ben slapped Bennett's hand away and sniffed but quickly brought his thin fingers to his nose.

"Ohw," Ben swiped at the dripping blood.

"Go get cleaned up, class is about to start." Bennett said softly.

Ben rose from where he sat and turned in the direction of the bathrooms, Tayler had picked Ben's back pack off the floor and hold it out for him.

"Thanks," Ben offered, yet Taylor didn't let go of his back pack.

"Don't let them get to you B, you got to stand up for yourself." Tayler said in his deep voice.

"Right, as if. You're not the freak!" Ben snapped and pulled the back pack to his chest.

Tayler dropped his gaze down at his sneakers, he looked hurt.

"That’s rude Ben, apologize. Now." Bennett growled low in authority.

"Sorry alpha, sorry Tayler." Ben said in small voice avoiding both there eyes.

Bennett didn't fail to notice the smile on Tayler's lips, nether the stabbing cut of jealousy in his heart. Never, no matter how hard Bennett tried he could never get Taylor to smile the way Ben could. But then again that was his own fault for the mistake he made two years back. He watched Ben turn and scurry of to wards the bathroom. Ever since that brave hearted and foolish move, when he kissed Tayler down in his parent's basement, their friendship had sit on a cliff hanger, never falling off and never going back to what it was. It was just different from that day onwards almost awkward. And never mention or spoken of ever since.

"Five, four, three, two—." Tyler got cut short.

"Salvatore! Principals office, now!"

Of all the teachers why him, why him?

Bennett turned to face Mr. Kirsten, the gym teacher.

"On my way sir." Bennett, glanced and smiled at Tayler, and for the first time, since two years ago, the boogeyman flashed a bright white teeth smile at him. Bennett's heart ponded in his chest.

Fucking best day ever!

"Get you in math class," Taylor said, patted Bennett on the back and walked off.

Bennett couldn't wipe the smug grin off his face no matter what detention Principal Orlok, aka The Nosferatur, was going to hand him.

Fucking BEST DAY EVER!
