Wake up...wake up...
As I opened my eyes, two pairs of beady eyed stared at me wide open. I blinked a few more times and sat up, almost knocking the two creatures over. I ignored them and scanned my surroundings, having my eyes all over the place. Where am I? Why am I here?
As if answering my questions, one of the creatures answered [ You are in the most ancient and oldest forest in this world, which they call the Cursed Forest. As for why you are here, you have been sleeping for 300 years..because y- nevermind. Anyway we were protecting you from harm. You may call me Scarlet and the rude one beside me Rinslet. We are the guardians of this forest. Now, answer me. What do you remember about yourself? ]
[ I'm not rude! I'm just "examining" her!! ]
Scarlet ignored her and stared intently at me. I chuckled in my mind at their little argument. Still recovering from the feeling of dizziness and shock from being told I slept for 300 years, I stared wide-eyed at them.
As I only remember myself as an ordinary human. I was a normal girl living a commoner life, they called me Luminous and for some reason, I couldn't remember why my name was Luminous and my head aches so much whenever I tried to remember something. It was as if a barrier was protecting my memories from being exposed. I could only remember up to that, and I know my age was around 15 the last time I remembered my memories. And that is all. I don't even know my real name. So, I told them what I can remember, since they did not look harmful and I do not like to owe debts.
[ Hmm... I see you have forgotten everything related to your fate, Lin. Lin Evahnstein, the Girl who sealed the Dark Mage, heir to the throne.]
I heard her mumble something under her breath, something about me forgetting something. What was that about?
