Chapter 2

I ran away from Trent, don't ask why cause I couldn't tell you. I stopped and leaned on a tree as I tried to catch my breath. Why am I running god damn it! I could kill that human boy in a second!

I looked up and smiled. He could be my first kill of me doing it alone as well. I always killed what dad brought home for me. This boy could be the first one I kill without dad!

I heard running and turned to see Trent running up to me. I let my bangs hang over my eyes so he couldn't see the color of them, as he didn't noticed them before.

"Why did you run from me? Did I do something wrong?" He asked as he caught his breath. I grinned but hid it with a sad look. "No, I'm sorry. I was just scared and ran away, because you don't meet or more find people in the woods." I said.

He smiled and nodded. "Yeah, sorry didn't mean to scare you, Lotus." He said as he ran his fingers through his black hair. I nodded and walked closer to him as I slipped my hands into my hoodie pocket.

He sighed and stretched his arms up. I stopped walking as I was only a foot away from him. "Do you feel lucky, human?" I asked. He looked at me funny then shrugged. "I don't know what you mean?" He said a little confused.

I pinned him to the tree and pulled my knife out on his neck. He had fear in his eyes and that made me feel... Horrible. I don't like the look on him. I dropped him and put my knife away.

"Like I said, I have to go. Bye" I said then ran away without looking behind me...
