(Angst AF)
Wonho was practicing in the practice room with the band when the manager came.

They finished the song they were dancing to before greeting him.

"Wonho I need to see you."  The manager said his voice stern but softer than normal.

Wonho shifted uncomfortably but followed the manager out into the hall.  The entire band stayed still curious and worried.

They waited listening to the mumbling when they heard Wonho shout something before it became deathly silent.

Wonho slammed back into the practice room tears running down his cheeks as he grabbed his bag before leaving again.

The manager came in and apologized telling them to continue without Wonho for the day.

Shownu nodded but it was obvious something was wrong.

"What happened?"  Hyungwon asked biting his tongue.

He was never good at minding his business when it came to Wonho.

"He has a family matter to deal with."  The manager said discreetly before leaving.

They slowly started working again barely keeping up with the music as they all thought about what could have happened.

Wonho sprinted to the dorms throwing his stuff into the living space before leaving again to get in a cab.

He rode to the hospital jumping out of the cab before it had come to a full stop.  He threw some money in the cab before leaving.

He was so determined to get to the hospital quickly he didn't even realize he just gave the driver 34854 Won (roughly 30 US dollars).

He ran into the hospital asking the nurses for Mon Ta (meaning my star).

They looked confused but instantly recognized him as Wonho and knew who he was referring to.

They understood that Wonho was in such a delirious state he wouldn't remember to say her real name.

He had kept his mother's name a secret from the media so she could live a normal life so he always called her Mon Ta when referring to her on a show.

They led him to a room near the back of the hospital and left him there alone with her.  The woman who had birthed, raised, and believed in him.

Wonho tried to hold in his tears as he approached the hospital bed.

"Eomma..."  He said picking up her weak hand in his.

She smiled softly barely opening her eyes.  Her skin was pale and her eyes were clouded.

Wonho bit his tongue so hard it bled while trying to hold back his cries.

"I love you Hoseok..."  His mother whispered her voice weak like the rest of her.

She had been hit by a car and flown to the best hospital which happened to be in the area Wonho was staying in.

His mother saw that as a sign for her to see her son one last time even if that meant breaking tradition.

In Korean tradition a man is not to be present when a woman is passing away but his mother knew Wonho would need to say goodbye.

"I love you too."  Wonho said his voice cracking.

"Don't cry my child.... It will be okay."  His mom said smiling at him.

"What do I do?"  Wonho asked tears falling.

"You do what you always do, be yourself and make me proud."  She said before breaking into a coughing fit.
