Ms.Kim introduced the second student that walked through the door.

"Oh yeah, this is the other student, she also transferred here today, what's your name again?" "Hi, my name is Jyra." replied a voice so sweet, low, and soft, almost husky, but not quite.

"So anything you want tell the class." Ms.Kim said, trying to feign tiredness for comical purposes from having to repeat herself.

The girl's hair was tied in a messy bun, she had a navy blue wool jacket, a black t-shirt, and a skirt That matched her jacket.
"Well I guess, I like trying new things, looking for fun ways to pass time." Her eyes were fixated on me, they burned my existence, a smile remained on her lips.

"Alright grab a sit anywhere, but try to sit closer to the front.
"Ok." She walked towards me while still keeping her smile, she took the seat to my right.
"Hi" her voice came out, smooth as every word rolled of her tongue, almost having an accent, nearly untraceable.
"Umm, uh  hey." I stuttered.

"Alright, let's continue the class." Ms.Kim said as She continued teaching, her voice faded into the background, i continued to stare at the girl beside me, I examined her features, her face was exactly the same as my dream, her eyes were blue, her face was perfect, despite all the blue She had on, her lips were red, a dark dangerous ensnaring red.She noticed I was staring, She looked like she didn't mind and even chuckled a few times.

But all too quick the period was over, the bell rung as if sentencing me back to the cruel, bland, colorless reality. I felt dejected we were already leaving, wondering of the next day would come quickly, so I could see her again. I as packing my stuff trying to make it to the next class when Ms.Kim called to me, I stood in front of her desk, and she looked at me with comical disappointment on her face.
"I'm going to have to move you if the new girl keeps taking away your attention."
"Oh sorry, she just looked familiar." I struggled to get out.
"Sureeee, familiar, better get to class and make sure it doesn't happen again."

I was determined take Ms.Kim's advice, but my lack of focus in 2nd period even without her presence made 3 facts clear to me, each a result of the other.

1. I was developing a crush.
2. I couldn't stop thinking about this girl
3. If I didn't stop thinking about her, I was doomed to fail.

After 3rd period I headed straight for the library instead of the cafeteria. My stomach protested the food, my stomach had as much pride as it did appetite, and cafeteria food was an insult to it. Without realizing my thoughts began to stray into food, And for the first time since this horrific Monday started, I thought of something else apart from the girl.

While I sat in the library, my brain began a serious contemplation of whether the food being served today would be good, for the second time today, I saw her,she appeared before me, actively browsing books in front of a shelf, trapped in an endless loop of taking up a book of the shelf, flipping through it, then returning it in disappointment, until a book that grabbed her attention broke her free. Examining the book further, like a child with a new toy was a bit amusing.

She spotted me while attempting to grab a seat, she picked her bags and walked over, and enthroned herself in the seat in front of me before any remembrance of courtesy.

"Oh, you don't mind of I sit here do you." My stomach twisted in knots of excitement and desire.
"Sure, I really don't mind."
"Thanks, so you were in my first period right?"
"Yeah."
"Ummmm Mmmmmmm." Her face contorted in a way that indicated She was trying to remember something.
"Matthew." I attempted to finish her sentence.
"Now I remember."
"But my friends call me Matt." The very few I had.
I tried to continue the conversation. By asking "Your name is Jyra right. What does it mean?"
"My mom is weird, so I never found out." Then utter silence, she flipped through more pages in her book, and I awkwardly navigated my phone.

"Can I ask you question?" Her voice grabbed my attention and didn't let go.
"Yeah, sure." I was willing to answer any question for her.
"Why were you staring at me earlier today." Except for that question.
"Um well umm because I umm that's because you um  kinda looked familiar." Jesus Christ I'm a mess, I just had to ho with the 'you look familiar line' now she probably thinks I'm weird.
"And here I was thinking it was because I'm pretty."
"You do, umm I mean..."
"Who do I look like?" Her question cutting me off.
"Ummm, I had this dream last night, and she looked a lot like you." The words came out faster than I could stop them, why did I say that.
"What happened in the dream?"

There was clearly interest in her face, my mouth pried open inspite of my brain's effort to keep it shut, the details of my dream nearly fell off my tongue, but a sudden jump to her feet, stuffing of books in her bag sent them back up.
"Sorry but I must go, I need to find my class before the bell rings, so I have enough time to get lost." She announced before walking out the library, and seconds later the bell rang.
