"It's not your fault Regina. Don't think you did anything wrong..."
"No I obviously did something wrong," Regina snapped back at snow as fresh tears made there way down her cheeks. Snow had come over to talk about me renovations for the town hall when she found Regina slumped over in a chair with a box of tissues next to her and a blanket over her legs. Her hair was up in a high ponytail, which Regina never did unless she was upset, and she had leggings and a t shirt on which immediately told snow something was wrong.
"No, Regina, YOU didn't do anything wrong. He did. Anyone would be lucky to be with you, and the fact he took that for granted blows my mind. He's the stupid one for even thinking about cheating on you." Snow said, wiping the tears away that were falling fast down Regina's cheeks.  Regina didn't respond but when snow wrapped her arms around her, she gave into the hug and completely broke.
"I don't understand how everyone in my life leaves me that I love." She cried out gasping for air.
"It's not fair. I loved him so much and what do I get? This. I get heartache, again."
Snow pulled her in tighter but kept quiet. She knew Regina needed to vent and let it out so she chose to just keep her mouth shut.
They rated like that for a little while before Regina finally calmed down enough to let go of snow and push the blanket off of her.
"I'm sorry," she whispered out, ashamed of being weak in front of her step-daughter.
"Hey, you have nothing to be sorry for Regina. That's why I'm here, to make sure you don't keep all that inside and you let it out." She reached out for her hand and squeezed it but then got up.
"I have to go pick Neal up from school, but if you need anything at all you call me and ill be on my way. Ok?" She said giving her a sympathetic smile.
"Ok."
