One Step Two Steps

Chapter 8

"I know you still love her, even though she is bad, she still your wife and also my mom. Please dad, don't cry. It's make me hurt to see you like this. She dead because of tumour that she held for a long time. She didn't tell me but 3 days after she dead, I found out that she was having a brain tumour stage 4. Mom is strong, dad. She never telling me this. She want to be back to you but God love her more. Dad, will you forgive her?"

There is no answer from him but deep inside he always forgive his wife no matter how bad she are...

Seolhyun asked his dad's permission to take a chance to look around the company before she will start working at her dad company on the next day. That company is quite big and she don't even feel tired for looking everything in the company. From the store site until the rooftop. 

"Ting!" the door lift was opened, she entered the lift and press the button to the lobby. She was alone in the life and because she felt scared, she looking around the lift to see if there will be any any prank in it. After looking around the lift she suddenly  chuckles and shakes head.

[FLASHBACK]

"Be careful Seolhyun-ah"

"Why did I have to be careful?"

"Because some bad people love to make prank in lift"

"Prank? Like how oppa?"

"Like this. BOO!"

"Oppa! Don't scared me by wearing that ghost mask! I hate you oppa! I'm gonna sulk with you forever!"

" Aigoo, someone is sulking with this handsome oppa," he chuckles 

[FLASHBACK END]

"Erm.. miss? Which floor that you wanna go?" someone asking to Seolhyun

"Yea? W..why?" asked her back

He shakes his head and smiling back at her then asking the same question to Seolhyun back.

"Which floor that you wanna go, miss?" 

"Lobby"

"Lobby?"

"Yes lobby, why?"

"Well, you just pass the lobby and now we were ahead to 18th floor, " said him calmly and gave her another smile.

"Oh really? What?! 18th floor?! Why didn't you tell me about that earlier!?" 

"I already asking you the same question for many times but still got no answer from you. So I just press the button to 18th floor because I want to be in meeting in sharp time and you seems like you was in your own world since I entered this lift and keep chuckles" Seolhyun looked down to the floor because felt embarrassed with that guy.

"I..I'm sorry," 

"Nah, it's okay. Next time please focus, okay? I'm Joohyuk, Nam Joohyuk. Nice to meet you by the way" he walked out from the lift as soon the lift stopped at 18th floor.

Seolhyun was out of word after hearing what he said. It's true that she didn't focus in that lift just now. She bang her head to the lift wall because feeling so embarrassed for being into her world. She inhale then exhale for many time and pressed the button to lobby again.

"Nam Joohyuk." suddenly that name escaped from her mouth.

" But Woohyun, why did you.."

"Jjang! Our food was arrived! Let's eat!" he sat in front of Chorong after put the food on the table.

"Pabo.. why did you brought this food?! It's freaking expensive!"

"I don't care. Nah don't mind about it. When I say eat, so eat," he feeds Chorong with the food using his spoon.

"Delicious?" asked him to Chorong and she nodded then continued nagging.

"But still bad to sneak into closed restaurant and eat their food!"

"Please look at the wall with a picture,"

"For what? Heh just a picture of this owner named Nam Wooh..yun? Nam Woohyun?! You!?" she asked him unbelievable.

Woohyun just gave her a proud smile and his reaction face was like telling her 'dude I know I'm handsome and my name was cool. No need to say my name like that and staring at the picture then back to me'. 

Then Chorong crossed her arm madly. She pushed the plate away and stand up to walk out from the restaurant. Woohyun quickly chased after her when he saw she went out from the restaurant. He grabbed her hand and turn her body to make face him then he saw she is crying. Chorong is crying? Why she is crying? He kept asking that question in his mind. A bunch of guilty hit him. He felt like he is totally a bad guy cause making her cry. 

He pulled her body close to him then hugged her.

"I'm sorry.. cause making you cry.." Chorong still crying on his chest.

"J..just put blame on me, I'm sorry cause didn't telling you that this restaurant was mine and ..."

"Stupid! I hate you Woohyun! Why someone like you and it was you must exist?! Eeei I hate you!"

"If you really hate me, why did you willing yourself to be hug by me and keep crying on my chest?" Chorong who just realized the situation, she took a big stepped back from him and look away.

"Why?" he smirked

"S..shut up! S..sent me back to my home!" asked her.

"If I won't?" 

"I will take a taxi!" 

"But taxi didn't used this way on this hour. 8 p.m. let's eat Park Chorong you're hungry right? Because I can hear your stomach growling"

Chorong cursed to her stomach because making a sound. She want to hide her embarrassed by running away from him but based on him there is no taxi using that way on this hour. because she can't stand with her hungriness she forced her legs to step in the restaurant. As soon she step into the restaurant...

Woohyun parked his car in front of Chorong's house. He look at Chorong who was sleeping right next beside his sit. He smiles looking at her. He wonder what make her hate him so much but he knew that Chorong will fall for him little by little without she realizing it.

"Done looking at me?" suddenly Chorong talked and makes Woohyun acted naturally like he didn't look and smile at her. 

"Erm.. you're home... and have a good night! I'm going back home now" said him awkwardly.

"Strange guy.." she mumbles

"Oh Chorcoal-ah! Tom.."

"It's Chorong not Chorcoal! How many times that I have to tell you that my name was Chorong! P-A-R-K C-H-O-R-O-N-G!" 

"Whatever... Chorcoal, tomorrow during lunch time I will take you to somewhere. Wear something nice okay?" He winked then drove his car away from Chorong's house. 

2 minutes after that, seems like Woohyun already go. She suddenly touch her lips and smiles...

"Stupid.."
